Fruits and cutting???

Yes it is, especially first thing in the morning and post workout.

How much?

It depends on the fruit and your calories, things like bananas are quite calorific and high in carbs, strawberries, blueberries (actually most berries) are very low calorie and low carb.

Fruits are natures candy. I wouldn't over do candy while cutting (or any other time). Post workout would be the exception.

I eat about 4lbs of fruit a day when I cut, but I cut on DNP and fructose keeps my liver happy.. The rest of diet is high prot, mod fat, low carb. I'm not sure of how much like candy it really is, or if it causes bad weight gain.. I substitute carbs with them. Instead of a potato or rice i'll have a banana or two.. Instead of a salad or wrap I'll slice up some oranges and apples.. For post workout I use pineapples..

What do your macros allow for? How do you respond to the sugars in foods?

I think while cutting fruit is ok, but not just any fruit. As you know there are fruit that by nature have higher sugar than others. Ones that have low sugar are berries, grapefruit, melon..
