I been looking at shoes at Snaz I remember both Frisky and Jen got there comp shoes from there. Which style did you get and how do they fit? Are they comfy? Is the sole less then 1/4 inch?

You can also search on ebay --- search on " 5" clear shoes" -- there's a dealer called Active Wear who has a bunch of them. Look for the ones that are 5" and NOT having a big stack platform bottom. The 6"+ ones are the ones you DON"T want.

I bought both pairs (got the free shipping cuz I got both) and I think I like the ones with the straps best. They fit perfectly, cept due to the heel, my feet slide forward in the shoes, so I need to get the insert thingies. They are comfortable.

1/2 inch....just measured it with a ruler..... However, with the 5" heels (from what I've seen) you get more than 1/4" under the ball of the foot so your foot isn't at so much of an angle.....


The shoe you posted is pretty, but I think it's too heavily decorated for a comp. I think the shoe is supposed to be plain, so as not to detract from the whole package (you).

The clear ones. They fit great, very comfortable. They are slow as far as shipping, and extremely slow for returns/exchanges. Make sure you order in plenty of time.

Well, with Snaz I don't think it's possible to get a 5" heel thru them with a 1/4" on the sole. Their 4" heels I think have less than 1/4" under the ball of the foot.

i have the same pair as Jens slides. I like them but they didnt' have half sizes so insetad of a 8-1/2 i got a 9 I they dont' fit perfect but are comfy.

I like the other shoe you picked out but think they would be a bit distracting.. you don't want the focus on your feet.. you want it on you.

QT -- I wouldn't go there. Can you see the links I posted from ebay? Those are exactly like the shoes I alrady have, which are exactly like Jen's except no strap and no rhinestones. And those are exactly the shoes that every other girl my trainer works with used at our last show.

What I don't like about the lower slides ,e.g.the one's Jen got w/ the rhinestones, is that they dont feel like they stay on tight for me. Also the pair I have is loose on the left one so it tends to feel like its on half way.

But you want them to be VERY simple. The rhinestones thing is ok but any extra straps & stuff make them look tacky, distracting or just plain hoochie. (There were some girls at my show that went for the hoochie look.) I would keep the whole shoe clear plastic because any color on the sole or the top stands out sooo much on stage.

I got these, they work perfect and were pretty comfy. I had the same problem as Frisky, though, had to order 7 instead of my 61/2 and they were a bit big, shoud have went with the 6
