Forearms and "Wrist Roll Ups"

Y_lifter

New member
I've been working on gaining strength from the Elbow down and remember in H.S doing wrist rollups.
Major Burn in the forearms...

I asked the trainers at my Y if they had a setup to do them.
I got a look of

A short handle and a 6ft piece of rope to tie a plate onto was all I needed.

Today I brought in my own setup and left it with them.

Standing on a 2ft high Step I could only make it down and up
5 times for each front/reverse grip with a 45 plate.
Make sure you lower it down slowly under control instead of just letting it unroll back down.

Give them a try.... Better than DB or BB wrist curls IMO

I get scared because it feels like the muscles in my forearms are going to pump up so big that my skin will split.....i love using them

Been using mine more lately...feel it more in my hands though...maybe because I was using a 3.5" pipe...

I've been watching people use my Setup at the Y the last couple of days.
Big mistake I see them making is at the top, letting the weight just drop and unroll back to the bottom.

I show as many as I can how to lower it back down to the floor under control for double the pain/pleasure... :bawling:
