for best results should i keep bulking or cut then bulk again

ok heres the situation, i was thinking about cutting till i lose 10lbs (ill be 175 at 5"!1) that cut cycle would be till new years, then bulk again for 3 months after that. or would it be best to keep bulking till damn near march of next year then spend the next 6 months cutting intime for the start to my school year. will the added 2,3months of bulking be a huge advantage or is it not worth going to probally 20%bf or more (im at 9% now ) thanks.
 
if you want to keep most of the muscle you made on a bulking cycle, you need to go an at least a 1-1.5 month maintenance cycle, just so your body gets used to the added muscle.

so in your case, you should prolly keep bulking hard until february, maybe even january, then maintain your weight for a month and then slowly start to cut. this way you're assured to keep the most LBM possible. throw a fat burner in there, and you'll be ripped in no time.
 
lets say i bulked for 20weeks....i would shoot for a 2lb/week gain unless you think thats too much. when probally have to lose 20lbs+ or so, depending on how much fat i gained. is there a good chance i can add 20lbs of pure mass to my frame if i bulk till feb? thanks.
 
no, i bulked for 3months recently and added 20lbs with minimal fat gains...what are realistic gains i can see with a 20week or i could even do a 30week bulking period. thanks
 
Why would you be cutting for winter. do you play a sport. IMO I bulk in the winter and cut in the summer, actually a litte bit before summer. For best results you should bulk now, and cut in a few months, if you are truly looking for size, keep bulking, if you want a Brad Pitt type body, start cutting.
 
i think i have decided to bulk till febuary. the only thing im worried about is the added fat gains. im probally going to get fat, but its ok because its worth it, but do you think 9% bf is too high to start a 4month bulk period (maybe 5 months) if i bulk till feb then maintain in march it will give me 6months to cut. i think thats plenty of time, because i will probally have to lose like 30lbs. now for a meal plan can anyone give me a p/f/c% that i should follow. i bulked for 2 months and stuck to alot of good fats (pb and eggs) and for carbs it was sweet potatoes and oats, thats pretty much it, aside from gatorade p/w. thanks

edit: does anyone see a problem with me going up to 20% bf before cutting where my goal is 5% by sept. will i have loose skin if i lose that much fat even if i give myself 6 months to lose the gut? thanks

if you're 9% now, and you want to bulk til february .. i don't know 20% seems kind of high to me. run a clean bulk for minimal fat gains
