I used to get thin cut lean thin cut top steak and cut it into strips. I'd add garlic to the top of it and put it in the dehydrator. It was a mega 400watt one. It takes like a good 6 hours to dry it out (probably a ridiculous waste of electricity). I used to eat this jerky when I work at a summer job that didn't feed me every 3 hours so I needed a portable food. It would come out pretty good, but its a hassle to make and the dehydrator is sitting in the garage now.
