Floor shift rate

How much do you get paid for floor shift per hour? The gym I might work offered $10 per hr for floor shift.

What is the average/reasonable range of rate for floor shift? Does anyone know? Or how much do you get paid for floor shift (in NYC area)?

I don't know what the minimum wage is where you're from but if that's more than minimum wage then consider yourself lucky. The average is going to be minimum wage, but I think it increases base on your experience and number of certifications.

Thanks for your insight. I don't get why you would want to do floor shift if you can make more money by working as a receptionist at the gym.. My gym pays $15 for receptionist. Maybe I should do that instead of floor shift..
