First Date Ideas?

I have a first date with a lady I just met coming up, I want it to be a friendly get-to-know-you date. I have some ideas so far, but I need more, here's what I have:

Bowling
Movies (duh, but it would be after or before something)
Museum (seems like a winner)
Lazer Tag (bit too guy'ish? not to mention hard to talk )
Some sport activity like frisbee, soccer, basketball


so ladies, what type of stuff have you done on first dates with strangers? And guys what have you done for your gals?

Where do you live and what is the climate like there. Would you want to take her and do things outdoors??

what about dinner and a play? or dancing? i guess it depends on where you are, how old you are, how old she is, are you in school or out? etc., dinner is nice because you can talk and get to know each other and then a play after that is nice because you won't worry about running out of conversation because you've got to pay attention to something (like the actors or the movie if you choose movie instead of play). then there's the afterwards part, depending on whether you made any progress during the play, and depending on all the factors above, your place, her place, another place or no place....

Well big city Alberta, I would assume either Calgary or Edmonton. If it's Edmonton, take her to the West Ed Mall, head to the skating rink, do some laps, then head over to the theme park, ride the roller coaster or something like that, and then head to a movie or one of the restaurants there. (Not Hooters though)

If it's Calgary, head down to the Eau Claire Market, walk around a bit. Can't be too cold now. Maybe head to the Keg or something like that. If you really want to impress her and have the dough, take her up to the Calgary Tower for dinner. That should most certainly get you to at least second base, if not sliding in for a triple.
