Finding a real job sucks COCK & BALLS!!!

Still, you'll have to work doubly hard to make up for the lack of knowledge that would be gained by finishing HS and getting a BS/BA. Especially if your field involves math that is not as trivial as math for dummies. It's harder than most people think to learn advanced calculus, combinatorics and so forth. most good science jobs require that knowledge.

Multimedia...

Point is that when you start at 14 your not actually working but training...along the lines of going to school...also if you start working at 16 certain companies let you retire after 30 years so that would make you only 46!! HMMM..46 and have money to retire or 65, grumpy and hardly able to walk....

In my field you will get low paying jobs unless you have a doctorate (psychology), you'll make decent money with a masters but the most you can do with that is be a college professor or a therapist...I'm going for my PsyD. which means I'll be in school throughout my 20s and be in an assload of debt by the time I'm done...but sometimes the years and years of being in school pay off when you're done...you'll have way more opportunities if you go back and get your masters or even a doctorate, work on getting an internship or take that shit paying job while you're in school (if you decide to go back), that way you'll be gaining experience both in school and on the job.

No, i agree with going to high school and learning the fundamentals but college IMO is a waste. On the job training is alot more effective then 6-7 years of University. Not all fields are the same but for me 3 years in Comp Science and Multimedia taught me the basics. I went out and got a job working as a designer and made ok money but what i learned on the job (in 6 months) was more than i learned in 3 years in school.

I also ended up quiting my job after 1 year and opening up my own business since i made many contacts which i never made wasting my time sitting in a classroom.

That's pretty much what I want to do. I'm one of those people that can't stand being told what to do, I have to be my own boss!!!
