Don't be little your schooling, it will come in handy some day. Jobs are scarce these days do not worry something will come along. Are you in Massachusetts? The job market is hard there with all the colleges and all the kids coming out looking for jobs at the same time. I just heard about Phfizer (spelling?) they offer jobs to people with not much experience but you have to pass their hard core training. Keep looking not get discouraged, I worked at a gym and contruction until I got my advertising job. It will work out for you. Look on monster.com, hotjobs.com, careerpath.com you will find something, buddy!! Good luck. Tell me where your at and I will keep my eyes open for ya.

Vb, your a good guy dude!!! Anyway, I live in CT now, but I'm originally from MA. I've sent my resume to Pfizer, and about 20 other Pharma Company's in my area. I see that you list yourself as being in LA. My goal is to move out to San Diego in about 5 years, there's so many Pharma jobs out there it's ridiculous. But I wanna wait till my son gets into junior high before I make such a big move.(he lives with his mother) At this point I would take anything, but like you said, jobs are hard to come buy here. Well, I'll keep plugging.

On a different note, should be a good game this week between the Pats and the Fish. And the Bills and Raiders. Of course I still route for Bledsoe, plus he's my QB in fantasy football. Ok, late!!!

This sucks. I have a B.S. in Biology, but everyone that is hiring says they want experience. How the fuck am I gonna get experience if nobody gives me a shot. All the pharmceutical companies are the same way. The only way to get around in this world is to have someone on the inside. Fuck fuck fuckity fuck!!! Yes, I'm pissed as all of you can tell!!!

see my thread it hate my life for further info i have a BA in business studies but everyone tells me a) i'm over qualified or b) you have no experience

Yep... you (I've been waiting to use this quote for days) dropped $150k on an education you could have gotten from $2.50 in late fees at the public library.

Don't feel bad... I'm doing it too and will be through in the Spring, but I'm busting my balls now to work in the mean time so I can have experience when I'm through.

Total would've been around 150K. I went to a private school in CT, but luckily I got a shit ton of aid, so I only owe about 35k to date, but it still sucks. I got fucking ass raped. It's amazing how college's can charge so much!!!

It's a fucked up world we live in! I should've just got any shitty job like 2 of my friends did out of high school. Now they make more money then I thought possible. It's fucked up man!!!

Every job i've applied to in my profession has asked for experience but never a degree. School taught me the basics yet i had to learn how to excell on my own. After getting my BA i do realize school was a waste of time. It's been 2 years i've been out of school and have learned more in these 2 years then the last 14.

Instead of school we should just get highered by companies at the age of 14 and whoever succeeds in learning their trade and becomes efficient gets to keep their job. Not only that but by the age of 20 they will already have 6 years experience and will be sound financially. On the job training is the way to go!
