I'm sorry but people like you aren't fit to be a parent. Being a parent means no longer living for yourself but living for your children. You are just looking for the approval of others to do what you know you should do. If you can't be unselfish enough to get off the gear for your wife and you to concieve, then you don't deserve kids. I am sorry if this hits a nerve, but I'm not saying this to start trouble with you. I am simply stating that being a parent means alot of times saying no to yourself.

It does hit a nerve, yes. I just had a miscarriage you know. Its funny how quick you can judge that im not fit to be a parent with one post. I understand steroid use is not glorified though and I will stop if my girlfriend doesnt get pregnant within six months thats for sure. I certainly think that a cigarette smoke can be a good dad, a steroid user too, although it certainly isnt ideal or a great model I guess. I am hoping to compensate with good values on many more crucial aspects in life. BTW, how many kids do you have?

Sorry I hit a nerve. I have three girls and my son will be born May 7th. I am not judging you, I am stating something that has been proven through trial and error. Every single one of us here that uses gear without a prescription is technically usings illicit drugs. So for me to glorify my use of gear because it's my drug of choice doesn't make what I say to be any better or different than someone who glorifies their use of their drug of choice. So that being said, how does anyone know for sure the gear isn't the problem? I have a friend who tried for years to get his wife pregnant but couldn't because of the gear. He got off the gear and about 7 months later successfully empregnated his wife and they just had their child. BTW, I am sorry that your wife had the miscarriage. Believe me when I say that my prayers go out to you. In fact when I am through with this post I am going to pray for you and your wife.

Thank you very much. The reason I was really considering not quitting while trying was because I got her pregnant (pregnancy wasnt planned) three months ago while being on gear. Thanks again for the good words.

For other people who were wondering the same thing as me, I just did a bit of research and I found an article in Muscular Development written by Dave Palumbo (I know, he's sometimes controversial). The article states that for the Sertoli cells to signal spermatogenesis to the testicles, a certain quantity of testosterone must be present, i.e. the Sertoli cells must bathe in testosterone. If someone would be on HRT at 250 mg per day for example, the quantity of testosterone bathing the Sertoli cells would be too low because the Leydig cells would have stopped produce testosterone. However, if someone took higher dosages (around 1000mg per week), the quantity of testosterone floating around the Sertoli cells would be ample sufficient to induce spermatogenesis even though the Leydig cells wouldnt produce endogenous testosterone. This goes against what I heard before but it seems substantiated. It sounds crazy but the more mg, the more fertile. Dont think that is what I would recommend or what I think is best though. Anyway, the article is in the December 2006 issue of MD.

I got my girlfriend pregnant on moderate doses of various anabolics but she got a miscarriage yesterday and we both want kids as soon as we can. Since Ive been on for the most part of the last two years, coming off completely isnt really an appealing option. I was thinking of running 750 mg of test a week with clomid, femara and maybe hcg. Would that boost my fertility or is there a better option? Is deca, tren and winstrol out as long as Im trying to conceive? I know I may sound steroid obsessed but Im a personal trainer and i have professional bb aspirations.

bro, I'm interested in this also, I'm starting my PCT monday with hcg, and hmg for 3 weeks followed by clomid. Me and my girl have been trying to conceive for a couple of years, and I know from my gear usage. I"m not really interesteed in staying off for the many months it may take to do the deal. I"m going to give it 2 - 2 1/2 months, then I'm going back on. I would love to know if it can be done while "on", if there are any specific compounds that would be better than others when combining hcg and hmg and clomid.

Bump for both of us then.

Just one miscarriage. The doctor told us it wasnt linked to steroid use or anything like that. Actually, he said one pregnancy out of 5 ends in a miscarriage. And I havent been tested by a specialist because I got her pregnant in the first place, without stopping my gear use. I would just like to maximize my chances of getting her pregnant because we both want kids and we are sad about the miscarriage.
