Big problem with Hushmail: their servers are located in a US-friendly country. Subpoena's don't work with fucked up third world countries are most of eastern Europe...

Your protection from the Feds shouln't rely on your emails being in a non-subpeona friendly country. Rather your encryption mechanism shouldn't allow them to decrypt it by getting your passphrase from your provider.

*IF* what this guy is saying is true, that HM is capturing your passphrase, that's the problem - not where their servers are located.
