Fat tends to come off in "sheets" (mostly), because we have thinner fat layers in various places around our body (genetic), as the fat comes off you'll "shrink" in the "thinnest" areas first. At least it will appear that way.
For example, if a woman's genetic predisposition to fat storage it for it to go to her ass, then likely by the time the ass is noticably affected by fat loss, she's gonna look fairly cut in other places, such as say her upper back, or chest/boobs.
As a guy, I'm getting quite cut in many places on my body (people keep saying my legs look like they come off an athlete), but my genetic predisposition to store fat is in my love handles. I've got no depth to my navel and you can now see some of my abs nicely, but I have this nice stereo-pair of fat blobs hangin over my belt in the back.
just think of the "sheets" as being thicker at say, your ass, or your stomach, or in my case my love handles. One single sheet is only a millimeter thick at your shoulders, but at other places on your body that single sheet is a cm thick.
It's not entirely accurate, but it gives a good way to manage/understand it in your head. Helps to rid your mind of the spot reduction myth/wish.
