Fat Guys And Juice

Ok - here it is...

I am 26 years old and currently weighing 270lbs at 6ft. My BF% is 15% according to the gym scales. I have been on and off cycles now since I was a sophmore in college where I was playing NCAA DIV !-AA football and weighing 255lbs. While playing, I was like a machine! I felt invincible and I have never been stronger. Then, when my college career was coming to an end, I blew up my shoulder completely destroying my rotator cuff.

As most of you probably now assume, I blew up. I couldnt lift anything and when I did recover from all the treatments, etc..., being in the gym was extremely frustrating, so I gave up. I blew up to around 335lbs. Then I finally reached a point after seeing a picture that was taken of me on the beach and desided to do something. In July of 2006, I designed a diet/lifting/cardio plan that I did full force for about 2 months. Obviously, I had a great deal of weight to lose so I quickly began to shed the weight, most of which being water. Finally, I got down to around 300lbs (35lb loss from the start) and having juiced in the past, I decided to jump on a test prop / winny cycle. I ran the cycle for 16 weeks and then came off with clomid and hcg. When my cycle was complete, I dropped down to 252lbs.

So after all my rambling, my question is, why are people against fat people taking steriods. I truly feel that they had a major contribution to my weight loss.

I am sure people will be bashing me for jumping on a cycle at such a high weight with such a high BF% but hey, look at the results...
 
well first off all steriods dont atribute to fat loos in the first place secondly crap i godda find the reasonin but at higher bf your have higher levels (of estro) so using test and steriods you have a lot higher chance of gyno but there is more to it.. i godda find it.
 
the only thing i can think of is the look
they are less pronounced if you are holding fat and most of us bodybuild

im in your boat though, always been an endo
my first cycle, i trimmed up and got bigger

its funny that people try to catagorize the people that "should" use hormones when in reality, nobody really needs them
 
I played for Iona College in NY.

I know that steriods to dont "burn fat" but for me, the lbs just melted off and I became extremely hard and strong... Everyones body reacts differently.

Muscle attributes to fat loss though, and steroids build muscle, so i guess they dont directly have a big impact...

I started steroids at 15@ BF, and am down to about 9% now.....I did find i had a bit more estrogen back then....I had to be on arimidex@ at least 1mg per day......for a couple days i got to 2mg/day......i probably should have been on aromasin or letro though....anyhow, i think 15% is what you should at least be at before starting again.

Offcoarse do more research all the time too.
 
I was thinking of taking Letro before starting my next cycle - but throughout all my research, I have not seen anything or ever heard anything on taking it by itself...

I know what you are trying to say, and i agree to a point.... Yes more prone to est. sides, but with a good AI that can be controlled...
I do not like to see anyone turn to steroids for weight loss because 99% of the time its thier diet / training that is the problem...

But here is where i gotta disagree, they will help with fat loss.. Say test. as an example,, give me 2 guys same diet same training same body stats--- have 1 on 350mg a week say of test e-----the other natty

The one on test. in same circumstances is gonna lose more b/f then the natty bro...

Real world though I agree too many bros are overweight and want a majic bullet to lose all the fat fast,, and not willing to put in the effort/will power..

not saying thats your case to original poster, but thats what happens 9 out of 10 times...
 
why do people always say "i blew out my shoulder" or "i blew out my knee" you don't blow it out you fuck it up. you cant "blow out" a bodypart unless you get hit with a fucking land mine.
 
I agree - I also know that without proper diet and training, it does not matter what you take. That seems to be the misconception with non-educated people about steroids. They think you take something and boom your a muscle head.

It works for me. I don't even workout. I just take enough roids to kill an elephant and get huge.
 
My thoughts are that maybe it's not going to do as much as it will for someone who is already in shape and lean and will see the results more easily but I'm for ANYTHING that will give me more motivation in the gym. I'm going to have a hell of alot more motivation knowing that I'm building muscle faster which is helping me burn more fat. Anything that is going to give me more of an edge mentally i'm going to try. I got down from 300 pounds to a nice solid lean 222 and I feel fricken great. I might not have made it mentally if I wasn't juicing at the time. I have to say though that the winstrol is a complete waste to take unless your already fairly lean. It's just not going to do anything but harden up the muscles under the fat layer which you wont see till you get leaner.

78 lbs lost using juice...that is impressive!!!! Congratulations! Do you have any posts here showing how you did this???

Dr K, I attibute it also to the dieting i was doing at the time which was a high protien very low carb diet. I know it wasnt the healthiest way to go about it but it got me where i wanted to be which is when I changed back to a more normal "Clean" diet. The Juice helped me actually keep alot of the muscle along with the high amounts of protien I was taking in at the time.

Actually I did have a post here quite awhile ago with me on my bike at 300lbs. I really should find it and post it up again but I want to do a before and after type of thing once I get back from Jamaica in 2 weeks.

I really don't see a problem with low doses especially when trying to lose weight. It helps preserve muscle mass. I don't really think it helps much in the weight lost dept though. For that your cardio and diet make the difference.

I don't see any problem with juicing while trying to lose weight. Preserve as much shit as possible while dropping as much fat as possible.

Some bros train harder and diet harder while ON gear.
sometimes that is what helps too not just the gear.
once you invest the money into your gear and start poking yourself you may cheat less on your diet and not skip workouts.

bro im with you former fatty here too, former football player now mma guy, If your athletic and fat I think roids help, I have changed my body in 4 months. When I wa snew to this board I posted my pics and got flamed by tons of people saying I was too fat, but I knew my muscle memory would kick in and that with the motivation I would turn my body around and so far so good, fuck the haters, unless they have been fat they will never understand. Im with you bro.

Hey bro congradulations!!! I know exactly how it is, before the cycle I'm on now, I ran and dieted like hell for a while, but seemed to be at a standstill. No matter how hard I tried it seemed like I couldn't get below 20% bodyfat. I woke up in the morning and ran and did cardio in the evening, had my diet down great and all, just have the genetics of danny devito. Right now I'm on my last week of this cycle, didn't gain any weight, but have cut down bodyfat to 16.5%, increased bench by 60 pounds, increased squats by over 100, have had some excellent results, am physically stronger with a lot less fat. Wish like hell I had before and after pics. A few people kept telling me I shouldn't have been on at all until i get down to 15%, but I haven't ever been 15%. Even in the best shape of my life in the military, I was 16.5, Just have a natural body like that!!! Now though I have confidence I haven't had in years, and I seriously believe the gear is the huge reason for that!!! I will say too, the people on here have helped tremendously!!! I think it depends on the circumstances before you do them. If youre a fat slob who just wants to get big without having to work out or diet, that's one thing. If you try like hell everyday, but seem to be in a rut, by all means, go for it!!!
 
I'm thinking about doing HGH in hopes that I can lower my BF% by even more. Anyone think it's worth a shot??

fat guys taking juice only makes them fatter. The muscle gained is nasty and their bf increases with weight. Mostly water weight is gained, thats why being a low bf before taking steroids is very beneficial to the bodys physique.

I am trying to get down to 6% then hit up a bulker im 9-10% right now and well on my way.

I really wish i knew where this magic 15% number came from....quite frankly i think there are some people who can't get under 15% withouth AAS cause they can't build the LBM...

There are others who are "lucky" and never go over 15%...


WIth that said i don't think this number applies to everyone and its all on a case by case basis

I'll link/bump the thread here in a second, but there was a thread where me, Chefwide and Mr. X got into it big time over this exact same subject. The positive effects AAS have on your metabolism as well as ability to diet like crazy with minimal lean mass loss seems favorable for a body composition change. At the same time, looking for that magic bullet seems to be what some people are doing. If you can separate the two desires, I like the idea of using AAS as a part of a body composition change ''cycle''

I am talking low something you could run for a bit without much worry. Around 200-250mg. It will shut down your natty test so you got to think about if you do. I guess you could use about whatever you wanted as long as it is injectable.

Wrong Wrong Wrong. Diet and cardio is a much bigger factor in whether or not you gain or loose weight not so much AAS. In addition I am talking low dose not running typical cycle. What is nasty muscle? Muscle is muscle. If you are dieting I would not expect much gain as far as muscle goes. If it happens then great. That is just icing on the cake. I diet to loose body fat and to retain as much muscle as possible. Low dose AAS can help with that no matter how fat you are.

I was on 300/wk test cyp and 400/wk EQ, and started off fat, no one can tell me that fat guys shouldnt use at all under any circumstances. I've had a lot of compliments from everyone. I'm just built natrually thick though.
 
I'll have to agree with several people, forget being fat..if you are willing to change your diet to be on point and workout hard as shit...it doesnt matter, the AAS will help. Way to many positives to not take it.

The key here is not still being a lazy fat ass eating donuts....you have to be willing to sacrifce the food and take the pain out on your body.

I was fat when I Started and I have increased my weight while dropping significant bodyfat, I even posted pics here to prove it. your a peice of work saying that gains made by a fat guy is nasty. Your average North-American male is 15% BF. I guess some guys just have trouble being better than average lol.
