I am a poor college student, and I was wondering if any one had some advice as to some places to shop for good clothes, even websites or just some tips.

Thanks

EDIT: Just realized you live in Canada so Im not sure what stores you got there, make sure you try on in store and buy online, since good style is about a good fit as well.

ebay.com, beware of fake items though.

Go to American Eagle or Aeropostle and buy some jeans and button down shirts on sale if you can, some here might disagree, but lets face it, its better then pac sun or anchor blue(Where alot of college students shop).

Dont use gel, use a wax or paste in your hair.

A nice button down with sleeves rolled slightly, with a nice watch, nice jeans, and nice designer shoes and you will be better dressed then the majority of college students.

zappos.com for shoes.

ebay.com (Search for energie, diesel, kenneth cole) and find items that suit your style.

Good luck.

Zappos doesn't ship to canada.

Since you Live in Canada you're fucked, ahaha.
Just tell me where you live and I'll tell you what to do.

not sure if they have them in canada, but places like TJ Max, Value City, Ross, Fashion Bug....they have designer clothes at doscount prices. i guess some of it is out of season gear - like last year or leftovers from fall when it's spring that kinda thing. but you can pick up some stuff that doesn't go out of style

and of course, sales are always a good thing too

bro whats ur budget, i consider myslef on a budget my cheapest shirts are about 50 bucks and jeans about 60. i cant afford all teh lacoste polos and diesel jeans that i want. so therefore im on a budget. since your in college. whats ur budget?

o also, buckle jeans sells some cheaper shirts too. i can get a decent shirt for 30 bucks and thats really cheap for my tastes. good luck bro, get a job at a store or something.

Hmm Canada's value stores are harder to find because when we talk value as in cheaper.. the items you buy tend to last a shorter length of time. I would rather invest money in key pieces and buy a few "CRAP" pieces to go along with the good stuff.

Fashion on a budget is hit and miss. When you find your rainbow.. don't share it with anyone.

We do have vlaue village, good will and salvation army.. but those places kinda smell.

We also got Walmart, and zellers that have value lines that you can sometimes find key pieces.

Even The Bay.. if you look hard enough has stuff dirt cheap.. but you have to look

Winners is the shit, and in my city it's the only option for budget fashion.

They don't have a ton of stuff for guys, but do carry some cheap mid-range items (Polo, Diesel, ecko) and occasinally some higher end brands as well (Gucci, D&G, Armani). You have to sort through a lot of shit to find the good stuff though, so plan on spending at least an hour or two there. Typical discount is 30%-50% off retail price.

I hear TJ Maxx is coming to Canada soon, but probably not until next summer.

Old Navy.

The best fashion is what you have under the clothes and you can only buy them in your campus gym. But they are free.
