Facials (are they worth it?)

Choosing between a facial or a massage, I'd choose the massage. It feels great and is good for your muscles too. I prefer the deep tissue type massage and like LOTS of pressure. Male therapists are usually better with this, but for the past few years I've been going to a female therapist who is very strong. She knows how to exorcise those demons from my hamstrings after s.l. deadlifts! Don't be afraid to tell the therapist to increase or decrease the pressure whenever necessary.

I like facials too, but I hate the "extractions" part where they pop zits. Sometimes traditional facials (with all the cremes and such) make me break out even more. Doing the micro-dermabrasion facials and/or glycolic peel facials have really been helpful though.

Thanks to all of you!

I think yall have made my mind up - MASSAGE!!!!:D :D

Im going to skip the whole facial thing..sounds like it might make my problem worse....

Vixen - I use Clinique foundation, powder and blush - I will pick up some of that scrub next time...thanks for the advice..

As far as the blackhead thing goes - I promised myself I would NOT pick my face anymore.....well It looks better, but I do notice more blackheads b/c they are trapped in there now( i need the scrub for this!)....I wash my face every morning and night w/an antibacterial soap and then swipe it with a alcohol filled cotton ball...I also watched a special that said you should wash for at least 20 seconds to really clean your face and rinse just as long...
