Ephedrine and the ability to get wood

Anyone else have a problem getting a woody when they take ephedrine? It only seems to happen when I'm actually buzzing off the pills. When I come down my pecker seems to work fine again but when I'm buzzing not even pamela anderson could make my cock hard...

I hope its not just me or else I could have some sort of problem.

Yes, that happens.

Ephedra is a vaso-constrictor, meaning it constricts blood vessels.

This can and wil create problems in erections in both their rigidty and ability to achive and keep them.

Normally this effect is only present when the drug is present, meaning you only have these problems when "on" Ephedra.

However anecdotal evidence has shown that chronic use of things such as this (vasoconstrictors in general, nicotine is one too), over long periods, may create some degree of long term effects which may hinder erections.

Meaning, use it too much, too long, and even if you stop, you still may have problems. At least for a while.

Funny how they tell you about all of the side effects of that drug except the one that really matters... I'm not too worried about long term effects though cause I use it maybe once a week.

A lot of times when I'm taking ephedrine my wiener looks like a little baby's pecker when it's soft. But when I have a hard on it's about normal.

I think some of the erection problems people have when using ephedrine or drugs that work in a similar manner are caused by sort of a feeling of disassociation, not just because of vasoconstriction. If you notice, a lot of times when you're buzzing from ephedrine or some other stimulant it usually takes you longer to get off, and I don't think that's necessarily because of blood flow issues.

I wouldn't really worry too much about any of these effects being permanent. There are millions of people taking prescription and non prescription drugs that have these same effects, and they're taking them every single day.

I mean, if penile vasoconstriction due to taking stimulants was such a problem, I know many guys who's dick's would rot off from crankin', etc.

Don't take high doses or use Viagra or Yohimbine (which is a vaso-dilator). A little Eph can actually turn you on sometimes. Assuming, of course, you have the right stimulation.

no prob. its normal and like you said temporary- (except as you age, it might extend a few hours (2 or 3) past the 4 hrs of thermogenic effectiveness)- ephedrine/ephedra a vasoconstrictor (the opposite loosely speaking of niacin/NO2/viagra/cialis/yohimbe/etc )

caffiene does same.

viagra will fix.

I've been taking ephedrine almost nonstop daily for at least 5 years.

wood still intact after effect wears off.

maybe it's the caffeine. Caffeine is a vasoconstrictor and Ephedrine is a vasodialator. Ephedrine is an active ingredient for some bronchitis medecine... opens up the tubes for better breathing.

Experiment and try getting a woody after a cup of coffee.

i never have a problem getting it "up" its just that its all shriveled whiole at work and such. Shoot even this fina makes me not think about sex but a girl can still get it up

geoboy, good to see somebody else has been taking ephedrine for a long time without any ill effects.

I always take 25mg eph. w/ 200mg caffeine and rarely take too many doses in a day, and have never had any problems you wouldn't expect for being a heavy coffe drinker or something like that.

I don't seem to really build up much of a tolerance which would necessitate taking larger doses, and any time I want to take a little time off from taking it I can get by just drinking diet soda if I want without any major withdrawal symptom save grogginess.

Ephedrine + caffeine will indeed make your dick look smaller soft, but I can tell you I've been taking ephedrine off and on for 6 years and I have had zero penile dysfunction except for the minor stuff that people have mentioned, and my dick is exactly the same size hard that it was 6 years ago.
