So I was sitting on the john today, i started thinking... how much is too much shit?

i personally take a couple craps a day, but some of my friends crap once every 2, 3 or even four days. i am bigger than them. i eat much more than them, and more frequently, :tuc: they also don't work out like i do.

but, one might think it would make more sense to hold off pooing for a bit, so that the body can absorb more protein, vitamins, etc.

does anyone know more about this topic?

some of you may take this as a joke, but perhaps, maybe, it has an ounce of usefulness.. :tuc:
 
LOL since my metabolism has increased from the sesamax, I shit a lot more....Umm I dont think holding your shit in will increase absorption of vitamins.
 
I'm like that when I am not eating a lot of food. I can go days without taking a shit. Even stuff like Taco Bell will pillage in my body for up to 3 days.

Now that I am getting back to eating more for the winter and trying to put on some more weight, I do poop a lot more now and it is only going to get more frequent as I get my calories up to 4000-5000 a day.
 
Once the urge to poop hits you, your body has absorbed all the nutrients it can and the feces is just sitting in your large intestine. Hold it too long, and you'll end up re-absorbing too much water from it and get constipated. Even on a diet, I tend to poop every day, when bulking, it's twice a day, and I'm only 5'5", around 185, I can't imagine how much crap some of these 250lb guys are producing. The TP and plunger companies probably love us :)

MY buddy's about 220 and everytime we go anyone he has to drop one. Drops them about 3-5 times a day. We were out surfing and he couldn't paddle in fast enough and dropped one in his wetsuit. Glad to know he's not the only one LOL.
 
I'm about 220 and I turd about 4 to 5 times a day. These are good sized too! And no matter what, I always take a monster dump right before training. I think it's beacuse I get a little nervous/anxious when I get to the gym. I've been throwing egg beaters into all my shakes and that really hasn't helped. Not to mention the gas...

It just so happens I weigh my crap everyday and keep it in a dookie diary...
Ok that is a lie but I am 250lbs and when I uped my meals from 4 a day to 7 to speed my metabolism my dumps went from 2 times a day to sometimes 4. usually with in 2 hours of waking..an hour after my 3rd meal and again after my 5th..then sometimes when i get home from the gym. Its a lot of crap!
 
Be glad you crap a lot. That's a good sign. What goes in must come out. If it doesn't come out, it sits inside and rots. If it sits too long, you can suffer autotoxification where your body starts absorbing the waste. Once every two days or more is a bad sign!

On the othe hand as soon as my protein intake goes up, shitter time goes up...........

don't see why you want to carry your shit around......LOL (remember is the body waste disposal)........
 
When I'm bulking I shit at least 2 x a day. Last cycle I was drinking weight gainer shakes that gave my shit the consitancy of pudding. It would take me a half hour and a roll of toilet paper to wipe my ass.
 
im about 263 and take about 5 shits a day. is there anything to help you knock more out at a time so you can go less? oh and blowen, to answer your question, i think it would be easier just to call you a dumbass. :mommakin:

Dookie diary....LMFAO! I have found that if I consume too much protein I sometimes get constipated. I walk around looking like this..... :worried: , but after a couple of ex-lax, I walk around looking more like this.... :D

I swear the place I was living at about 2 years ago had the smallest pipes in the world. I'd try to flush before mr. turd hit the water hoping it would go down. To my surprise it would not fit!

I wasn't aware that there was a correlation between hydration and color. Do tell, it would be a helpful health indicator for everyone to use. (or at least I'll use it)

I hope it doesn't get locked, I think blowen has a valid question. Too bad our society doesn't talk about crapping more openly. A lot of people could benefit. Just ask John Wayne and the 35 pounds of impacted feces in his large intestine he was carrying around before he died.
