enough muscle... too much fat !!

Hi.

I have added some nice muscle to my frame, unfortunately, along with it I gained way too much fat. I went from 126 before any weight training to 140 pounds. I am 5 foot 6 inches, and a 38 yr. old female.

I have recently come off a bulking diet. BIG MISTAKE !!! I was eating anywhere from 6-7 x a day, I think I took in too much protein and way too many calories. right now I am only eating 140 grams of protein a day to match my weight. IS THAT OK ?

What I am currently doing is lifting x a week as usual ( HEAVY ) and for the 1st. time in over a year, I have added 30-40 min. of cardio every other day.

maybe my ( no cardio,)c has been a major factor in my fat gains !!!!

Anyway, any tips on what else I should be doing ? I don't want to lose all my muscle ?

Please tell me any advice !!!!
 
Just bring down your calories and lift like an animal. Add in 20-25 minute cardio sessions in the morning. As long as your diet is in check (which is hard to do after bulking--need to retrain yourself) you will shed the pounds.
 
I think you need to check Shadows project in the ladies room.

you seem to ask the same questions over and over again, the last little bit. Follow that routine and diet.. Read the whole thread.

Yup, there's a diet & lifting schedule there. Follow it & you'll see results. :)
