I'm doing low-carb (although I don't skimp on the dex and malto post-workout), and with r-ALA, often dip into ketosis. I can chart my fat loss over, say, three weeks, but any smaller time period, and it becomes negligible (although I'm slowly adding bits of muscle at the same time - yay!) Would the 5-keto/2-carb diet work, or is basically for higher-bf%?
I would think at 9+/- it's hard to drop bodyfat at a steady rate due to the already low-bodyfat level. I would suggest, unless you have a show coming up, looking into trying the anabolic diet for 2-4 weeks and seeing how it works for you. It has worked for many people and if you do it correctly it should work for you. However, it might not that is why I say give it a shot, worst comes to worst it doesn't work for you individually.
