Enlarged Prostate

In the past 1.5 years I've done 3 cycles of a very low dose of Winstrol. Two weeks ago I started my 4th cycle of Winny and I was having a hard time taking a piss. It seems that whenever I go to the bathroom I pee but it's not that much and a few minutes later I still feel like I have to go. I went to the Dr and she drew blood and gave me the ole prostate exam and said my prostate was swollen and was concerned because the other night I felt pain in that area.

She prescribed some medication I've never heard (cant remember the name)to help me go to the bathroom but from what I've read it doesn't shrink the prostate per say but it is indeed used to relieve the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia .

Im 50 years old and to be honest Im a little worried that I have prostate cancer.

I was going to post this question in one of the other forums but I figured because of my age I would get more individuals my age to reply. What are the possibilities that I have cancer?

Also beings I was taking Winny how would that effect my PSA levels?

the medicine sounds like FLOMAX...it will relax the areas around the prostate allowing your urine to flow better.
I would DEFINITELY get a PSA test ASAP.

I am sure you dr. is getting your psa tested with the blood she took. Winstrol will enlarge the prostate. When you are off cycle is everything normal?
Sounds like benign prostatic hyperplasia, if it is will it turn into cancer? No. It’s true that some men with prostate cancer also have BPH, but that doesn’t mean that the two conditions are always linked. Most men with BPH don’t develop prostate cancer. However, because the early symptoms are the same for both conditions, you should see a doctor to evaluate these symptoms.

Dr called me this morning, PSA numbers are normal. This scare made me realize taking any substance legal or illegal isnt worth it... Im done

Did you know going in that:

- Winstrol is derived from DHT? A know side effect of Winstrol is an enlarged prostate gland. This symptom may occur risk increases with age.
This drug may also cause the following symptoms that are related to enlarged prostate gland: Enlargement of the prostate gland resulting in inability to urinate - this symptom may occur in elderly men

- Winstrol is 17aa so it is also liver toxic? Why would you want to risk your liver on an all oral cycle.

She probably put you on Flowmax.

Not to offend but you should have done a lot more research or you simply did know and did it anyway.

50 years old and you did 3 oral only cycles of Winstrol? I sure hope you did not do any permanent damage.

Should have made you realize taking hormones or any supplement without being properly informed is a big no no.
