sigweed, i listen to the music too, this thread's main point is to bash the trend following kids who try to identify themselves by dressing like every other emo kid. I dress well and still listen to emo. point.

Emo Attire:
Tight jeans, preferrably tapered leg, but flare/straight cuts will also work. Studded belt, often worn to the side or out of a loop or two. Converse shoes (ct's). Shirts will often bear some stupid advertisement and will generally be childs medium in size. The shirt is often faded as well. Hair should be long and straight, but messy. Some more corporate emo kids will go for short hair with an "emo-hawk" which in some dimented way makes them feel tougher... go figure. Do not forget the most crucial accessories like wrist cuffs and sweat bands on the wrists. IF you are going to wear a watch, make sure it is a thick leather banded one like every other teenager on the planet has.

Meh. Garbage. Emotional hardcore, they call themselves, right? The music is decent, but the vocals are horrid. The singing is whiney, and the screaming is just ghastly.

I'd rather pump myself for the gym with some heavy metal.

lol this thread is too funny... emo is dead btw. All the sub corporate genres have fused into "scene" culture... incorporating most punk/emo/indie/hardcore styles. I think we should let this one die though
