how about we maybe hold a vote after people get nominated? who would be game for that? only regulars, mods, and known posters can vote, and you have to be nominated by multiple people to run.... does that sound good?

we can let strongbow run if he chooses to. but if he has to be nominated by 5-10 people to run for the position, it might be hard for him.

this is kind of exactly how we are going to be doing it. This thread is to help me and the other mods pull names to put on the voting list.

I could see him being very good at it if he takes on the role seriously.

Miplank works for me. He has no time to be a ombudsman and if he did then he is not doing enough work for me. He has to much on his plate to have to run around dealing with this kind of work.

i think DB or samote are more level headed.
