im still unsure of the reasons why, but RADAR has officially left elite.
its a damn shame.. truly one of elite's all time best!
 
for what reason?

to me it seemed like he helped everyone...and i mean, -everyone-

thats a shame though, he had loads of helpsome info.

Yeah, this does really suck. I got the impression yesterday he just left to take a breather which is totally understandable. But for good huh? man that sucks. I am suprised that George or Elite has not made a post about Radar since he was about the best and most respected Mod on here as well as an incredible BB.
 
I wish I could see any post he made about this. If it's just to take a break, I fully understand. The man took a lot of his own time to help pretty much anyone and everyone who asked, I'd need a break too. But to leave for good, I'd want to know why at least?

Not sure if this is teur, rumor has it a couple of guys took a hit with some scammer, and blamed Radar for their misfortunes.
 
Shit maybe this thread was to late? Radar bro we all here at EF have the up most respect for you bro. You have helped in ways that words cant explain. Shit since I have been at elite every mod i have liked has left. Ranger, huckleberry, e2, muscleup, now radar.
 
Hey if that's true, and I think it might be part of it, that's just fucked up. Anyone can get scammed in this game. Just b/c a mod recommends someone doesn't mean they're not human and aren't capable of scamming you. I certainly hope that's not the main reason, b/c if so, it was incredibly childish of everyone who would blame a mod for simply trying to HELP people.
 
radar...bro i took a hit from that asshole and i have never considered you the cause. i know the chances we take and trust me ...for the one bad reference ...i have gotten several golden ones. Not your fault bro!!:good:

wow that sucks!!!!! Chase152 sucks! Being scammed blows but everyone does at some point in this game. That's the risk we take. He definately was a good bro, with tons of insight

I don't know if I could handle people pm'ing me on a consistent basis asking for source checks. The whole source check policy should be SCRAPPED and people should find out the hard way. If you think about it, the mods we "source check" with are almost like middle men( or women). Radar and the other mods put their necks on the line for the sake of our own vanity and they generally get nothing in return. And if he is leaving because somebody was scammed(which I find hard to believe) it goes to show how much he actually cared about people here.
 
We don't know if this was the reason guys, I hope not...I took the biggest hit from that scumsucker Chase and didn't blame Radar... In fact Radar helped me to the best of his ability to 'link' up with this guy. I really don't think that this could be the reason, maybe it was his health following hospital, who knows. Until we're told I don't think we should assume, lets hope whatever it is he recovers and graces EF with his presence again..

i agree with you..RADAR was one of the best guys here...i hope that what ever the problem may be he can get it solved..i know i will miss seeing him on the boards and hope that one day he will return

Radar IS awesome. If he's truly gone tha is a shame. I do know that he vouged for alot of bros that dealt with that faggot chase. Did Radar have anything to do with chase adn the scam? NO! He just got blamed for it, I had no clue this affected him like this, in no way did I see anyone directly blame him for their losses..This is a SHOCK to say the least and I hope that it is NOT something that is permanent :(
 
its a very sad thing. he and all the mods here are always a lot of help. i know mustang 18 has helped me alot. these guys take a lot of their pesonal time to help dipshits newbies like me out and i just want to say thank you to all of them.
 
Dammit ! Radar & Ulter , my 2 favorite guys on here. Instincts always told me that these 2 always know what they are talking about, & they never toot their own horns.
 
RADAR was one of the best EF has ever had.

What most people on the boards do not understnad is that being a MOD does not make us much different than the general public. We can not prevent anyone from getting scammed.

The only thing we can do is try to protect you.... Most of us{Mods} are somewhat in the know about whats going on, but there are simply no quarntees in this game.

Good luck to RADAR where ever he winds up.
 
Whatever the reason for him leaving, I'm sure Radar knows what's best for Radar.

He will be missed by all.

I know that during the whole Chase scammer issue, that a couple of people came out and basically accussed him of doing nothing and dragging his feet on the issue. It was a shitty thing for those people to do to him. These issues never get resolved overnight.

Also, he banned a few fools who came here and made complete asses of themselves. One or more of these people have been posting as alters, and startiing threads accusing him of taking money from Ag Guys to promote "bogus" products. There were some other wangs who came back as alters and accussed him of being a scammer.

I don't know if these were the reasons that RADAR left, but I am sure that tings like that would take a toll on anyone. I truely hope that he comes back after a break, and does not make this permanent. RADAR, your'e a good dude, and you will be missed. Take some time, and please come back when you have sorted out whatever it is you need to sort out!

Yes, I would of thought that maybe George would've made a brief announcement or something.......It's not everyday that EF will have a guy with the experience, knowledge and physique to back it up with like EF had with RADAR!!!! That guy has been die hard body building for years and years and knew an absolute ton firsthand regarding all aspects of bodybuilding...... Wish Radar was still here popping up on this thread right now, saying "Whats up fella's...I'm back--had a little mishap and everything is golden again"....

If not, the best of luck to Radar with everything!!!!

I think it will be a temporary break and when he feels like its time he WILL come back :)
That's my feelings on it...:D

He and I have talked over PM's numerous times and he GENUINELY cares about you guys (and taking good care of this board)...If he EVER did anything that turned out wrong I can ASSURE YOU it was NOT done intentionally...He WASNT like that...And EVERYONE here knows it :))
 
radar is the man, he has done more for me than anyone hands down, i got scammed and it was not his fault flat out. that fucker spit in his face, there was no way to see it coming. he was just as angry about the whole thing as i was. i have nothing but respect for radar and hope he comes back to ef. i bet he is sick of the pm's like mentioned before, he has made at least 10 threads on not pming him for source checks. perhaps he needs a summer break. peace out radar
 
As RADAR has left without a big announcement etc then i think we should respect his privacy and not assume the reasons as to why he left.

I hope he enjoys his rest from the boards and oneday comes back to share some of the wealth of knowledge and experience he has

We all loved the guy. Truely a great bro. He has helped me out in different ways. He always went that extra step and went out of his way. You can't say anything bad about him.

I can't beleive the talk of this chase fellow has been allowed to go under the circumstances it's being brought up. And I heard (saw) someone male mention of kickbacks from AG Guys. I'll go delicate on this one, open your eyes and think, and then look around at a lot of guys.

Radar helped me so much and answered my stupid FNG questions and I really don't know what to say. He is a great guy and I hope he comes back soon.

I saw this thread earlier and didnt post, hoping that when I came back Radar wouldve have posted. Hopefully this is a temporary thing because if not then this is a HUGE loss.
