Media and FDA have been dicks about it stating not enough research and even discouraging it as a smoke cessation device, so companies and businesses hold on to that discouragement to ban them which at the same time makes people think they must be just as bad as regular cigarettes. No way vapor can be worse!

I stuck to the vegetable glycerin base because of some of the sketchiness of some manufacturers...I won't claim they're healthier but I can make a correlation with feeling better smoking just those vs regular cigarettes
I doubt a lot of people really look into it and could be potentially going from the frying pan to the fire
not picking up a nicotine habit at all would be ideal obviously

Well that's where the smoking cessation portionof it comes through, some have regulated nicotine that you can increase or decrease until your levels of intake are low or gone, al lot of people just need that effect of sucking on the cig and blowing smoke out, they can do that without the nicotine thanks to the vapor.
