Working out on the heavy bag ALWAYS gives me terrible elbow pains. I usually use ice right after working out or sparring and an NSAID like Motrin. Glucosamine/Chondroitin/MSM and Jello have gone a long way for preventative medicine. Good luck and let it heal.

I'd cut down on the intensity of hitting the bags and ice the elbows immediatley after working out - and take the supps that Reubsf stated above.

I have minor joint problems and my shoulders bother me after hitting the bags - I take a daily dose of Glucosamine & MSM and it does wonders.

Definatly ice it afterwards like everyone else above has stated. It could be just a repetive motion irritation. It also could be something similar to "Tennis Elbow". Very, very small minute tears in the tendon near the elbow or the musle fiber in your forearm. If it persists or gets worse, you may go see a doc just to have it checked out. Or you could try to have some massage thearapy done on your forearm and possibly your tricep to reduce the stress on your elbow joints. Just food for thought. Hope it gets better.
