I think it has advanced since then on the concentration of the extracted finish product. I think that the problem was that to take around 600mg per day of it was too expensive and most companies were bot using pure forms of it or standardized.

I heard Primordial is working on an ecdy product. If that is the case, I'd be more inclined to buy into it.

I’m not totally decided yet on the ecdysterone.. I think it may have potential if you have a high quality extraction coming from the right source.

it is impossible for a steroidal compound (a la ecdysterone) to be anabolic without shutting you down.

That’s an unreasonable blanket statement … Id say its very possible to have an anabolic effect without contributing to HPTA down regulation. [eg, methoxyisoflavone]

Ecdysterone, in its pure state is worthless, too much of it is destroyed before it hits the bloodstream. However, if someone could make it not be destroyed, it would be great for enhancing muscle growth. There have been studies in the Soviet-Union, that PROVE ecdysterone is effective at improving muscle-growth IF it is INJECTED AND the athlete is consuming high-protein/high-calorie diet AND training hard.
