eating during covid

do you guys notice a shortage of food at the supermarket? i would think that food would be overloaded to the gills because restaurants and hotels are closed so lots of inventory. however i read there was a breakout at a meat factory in the dakotas. so what are you noticing around town?

you are right. with restaurants fucked a lot of food is out there. but there are also factories being closed too now so it kinda evens out

not having an issue getting food. rice in bags is pretty low

We had the same issues to begin with as people went a little crazy. It's back to normal now apart from queuing up to get in.

Things here are pretty back to normal regarding stock levels at grocery stores. There are still some limits being put on things like pasta, sauce, canned goods just to prevent hoarding but it seems like people are not panic buying anymore anyways.

It was insane in Manhattan at first, but most things are available now. Chicken and beef products are still not stocked well though.

During lock down, I usually manage my protein intake by taking supplements, because it is difficult to get natural products as markets are closed.
