Eating and Cardio

It's kind of hard for me to word the question I'm asking, but in simple terms here it is. If your trying to gain solid lean mass is it better to eat more than the usual amount of food and do more cardio, or eat a little less food and no cardio.

Eat more food, and do more cardio definately. From what I gathered from all the people here, they say the more you eat, the faster your metabolism works. So long as you're consuming healthy foods with proteins and carbs. And you definately want some degree of cardio no matter what you do.

In order to "cut-down" you'd use lighter weights and higher reps, right?

lol

i can think of what the guy's thinking though..

tzan, to gain bodyweight, be it muscle or fat, a person has to eat more calories in a day than they burn. if you want to do cardio because of health reasons, then you can do that but to gain more mass you'd have to eat that much more

Thanks for the replies men. I'm going to continue to eat everything in sight and maybe cut back on my cardio a little. Since it's so easy(at least for me) to bulk and such a pain in the ass to cut, I'm going to try to bulk while keeping my bf as low as possible.
