Of COURSE it will affect you, and not in a good way. Figure out where your priorities lie.
 
I don't drink much while I am here at home. Been a while since I've had anything to drink.

While I was overseas...I drank something every single day. Never got drunk though (difficult to do anyway).

Look at american football players. I have played with guys that were absolute beasts who would have "case races" on weekends. Same goes for weed smokers.

I personally don't do either.

I guess someone has to do a study with a bunch of sets of identical twins. One out of each pair gets 'faced a few times a week, the other abstains. Otherwise same diet, training regimen, etc. See who has better size/strength/athletic ability at then end of a few months.

Sorry dude, I know nothing about anti-psychotics applied to lifting. Best not to fuck with your brain chemistry anyway (unless you really really need it).

I don't think someone would be taking IMAOs, APDs or something like that just for fun, the are so fucking boring !!

tranquilizers in general tend to be muscle relaxants so you're not going to be able to lift as much. if you take enough you risk injusry due to lack of coordination.
 
Personally I like to have a few cocktails before lifting, kinda numbs my body so I don't feel any pain. Then when I get done I smoke a few joints so I don't realize the pain I just put myself through and I can go to the buffet and get the most out of my money. And before bed I have a few vicodins and percocets to calm down the headache of what I have done and so I can go to sleep. In the morning if I am groggy I do a few lines of coke to wake up, I really don't think this would decrease my performance at all.
P.S. I only do this on gym days, so I know that I am not going overboard.....only 3-5 times a week
