Dosages Are Bullshit

Good post. And, you look great for 59! I think the gram a week of all gear combined is dead on. My sweet spot/blast is test prop 100, mast prop 100 and tren ace 100. I run for 8-10 weeks M, W and F. I see where I can buy some long esters with high ml, like EQ 500 and Deca 400 and test 400. If I did that only twice a week I'd be at 2 grams. I always like to try new things, but once you find a good gear routine, stick to it. Good post!
 
Is it worth noting in this thread that UG gear tends to be under dosed, and how that plays into administering an actual gram of gear a week?
 
I have mixed feelings about this post and I'll explain why.

The Good:

- wakeup call for most people. Most people take too much juice
- If you're doing 1-2 grams of test + other "ingredients" and you're under 240 lbs, it's way too much

The Bad:

- no you cannot do jumping jacks and look damn good with a ton of juice. Doesn't matter how much juice you take, if you don't eat and train right, you'll look like shit
- If you are 260 lbs with sub 15% BF, a gram of test is a joke. You can take 2 grams of test a week no problem.
- MOST UG labs are waaay underdosed, i.e. when you are taking 1 gram of test a week it's likely closer to 500-750 mgs

Yes and No...a lot of UG stuff is highly overdosed as well. The whole UGL thing cannot be generalized. There is stuff thats pure crap, stuff that is wayyyy overdosed, and shit right in the middle. Comes down to really knowing your source and what the gear will really do.

I agree with all of this pretty much. Gear doses are probably going to need to be higher for the really big guys, where the guys that are way under their genetic potential don't need much at all (if anything) to grow.

The huge guys that are over natural genetic potential are going to have to cruise at a much higher dose just to hold the mass they carry as well.
 
So for primo...is 16 weeks a neccesity for primo...or would 6-8 weeks at 400-600 be sufficient?

Most people say you need more time because the results are subtle, but you can gain muscle in 6-8 weeks and it'll be solid. Again, what other dosages are you adding to the 400-600mgs? That's the whole point of this thread.
 
I agree 100%, I've gone over a gram a week in the past, and it was my worst cycle, loads of sides and honestly didn't see noticeably better gains than the simple 500mg test cycle I'd run before it... obviously for the big guys things are different, but for me, I'm around 180 and have no ambitions of ever being 220 or more, I'm 29 and would like to remain in good enough health to see my kids grow up... So I'll eat hard, train hard, and take as little gear as I can make good gains with... Maybe one day I'll hit 200....
 
The cycle I gained most on was 200mg (yep, two hundred) of test/week. It was my first cycle, and I ate and trained like a madman. This was before internet, so I had nobody telling me I needed at least 500mg/week...I guess you could say I didn't know any better.
8 weeks, I put on 30 pounds, and kept around 25.


Oh yeah...and my pct was to taper the last 2 weeks dose down a bit.
