Well, maybe he does bench that much ....... but define ... "bench".
I see guys with piss-poor form load up plates and do half-assed reps all the time. Dudes will put like 3 plates on a side and squat, but they like drop down maybe 8 inches and go back up ......
Or guys that load up for a bench press and either bounce off the bottom, or hardly drop the bar in the first place.
My personal fave is when assholes do seated rows, and they are swing back and forth (meaning their chest is leaning way in, then pulling way back, their entire upper body is leaning forward and then backward).
.... and people wonder why there are so many injuries.
That's also why I dont bother with dumbasses that ask me "How much do ya bench BRO". It hardly means a damned thing unless you see HOW someone does an exercise, and many people have such SHITTY form, that merely comparing weights does not mean jack.
