Mine doesn't. I don't think she would approve. She is part of the mainstream who has been given alot of false and or misleading info regarding AAS.

At Thanksgiving there was a discussion about steroids and you could just tell that most of the participants were just regurgitating statements they had read or heard.

I thought about telling her but I really just don't want to hear an uninformed opinion. As my Wife does she have a 'right' to know? What are your thoughts?
 
Mine knows. She's not crazy about it though she's alot better now than when I first told her. I pretty much told her, sorry, but this is what I do and will continue to do. After I educated her and dispelled some of the myths of gear, she's alot better. I explained you can abuse choclate cake if you wanted to. It's no dif. w/ anything else. Moderation is the key. If it were me bro, I would tell her. I think holding some sort of secret would be far worse to her than doing gear. Hell, bring her here to read up and find out for her self.
 
I can not believe that someone would hide this from their significant other......Education is the key to making them understand.

Their are FAR WORST things than steroids and cycling, the general public are usually in more of a health risk than any "Bodybuilder" that I know.
 
My wife cycles WITH me! What is up with that?! At first, she was like.........I don't want you doing that stuff...........it's no good for you.........so on, and so forth. (she manages a gym) I told her a few of the people that were juicing at the gym , and it blew her away. Now she tells ME things about them :)

I don't know how your wife reacts to things, but if it wont ruin your marrige, I would tell her.

Yea you gotta tell her.. I think its pretty obvious when someone puts on 15-20 pounds and is far from their natural "growth spurts".
Just educate her on what they are, how they are used medically and the preventative measures you can take.. Im sure the initial feelings will subside later down the road.... I mean if you hide this from her, what else are you going to hide????
Not singling you out bro.. I was in your same spot but didnt make the right decision and fess up at first... Just remember, its never just ONE lie..

Kind of. I've never used the word "steroids", I just use "muscle enhancer". I explained the details of the drugs I'm using and how it is safe to use if you are not an idiot.
 
My friend is a cop. He told his wife he juiced. When things went South with their marriage, she ratted him out to his boss. Needless to say he's not a cop anymore.
I still think he did the right thing by telling her-he hated being a cop anyway so she actually did him a favor by getting him canned.

The worst part about breaking "the news" to any girl is that their head is full of all of this negative steroid media hype-then you come along and explain that it's really not that bad for you in the same way a drug addict would justify his own addiction. I don't know how guys lead their secret steroid lives behind wifey's back. You might as well go out and fuck a couple of her friends too. Betrayal comes in many forms-lying, or lying by ommission is so not cool.
 
I told her everything before hand. I showed her all the research I had done. Why I thought I should go ahead. She's real smart. She was a merit scholar, graduated with honors from Berkeley and teaches AP chemistry and mathematics. She look at what I had and said "All this stuff in the news about steroids is all BS." Then she said "You're real smart, you won't hurt yourself go ahead." Then she asked about the safety of the gear. She's smart enough to see the problems right away. I told her that I had been watching this board for over a year and showed her how the game is played. I said it's not regulated by the FDA but there are some controls in place to keep the gear safe. She was cool with it.


I tell my wife everything. The last thing I want in this world is to have some asshole tell my wife something I'm doing that might hurt or alarm her. So I just tell her myself. For example: When her best friend from school was kissing me on the neck trying to get me to jump on her I told my wife about it. It actually made my wife feel good. She knows she can trust me.. And believe me her best friend is one hot Chinese woman that I wanted to jump on so bad. But I didn't because I knew that it would hurt my wife.

The real key to good and happy marriage is to put the happiness and wellfare of your spouse before your own. And when your spouse does that in return it will last until you die.

she doesn't really understand why I do it, but doesn't tell me not to and helps with the needles loads and sticks.

She's all for it, the only thing she was upset about when I showed her this site, was all the nude chicks in everyones avatar LOL. She bitched about that but was all for sticking me in butt. Go figure.

no. because if anything ever happens as far as legal implications it best for her if she doesn't know. I don't like hiding it from her (she knew about my cycles 15 years ago but not the more recent ones). Now. I'm no laywer but I just figure if she knows about any illegal activities (such as posessing AAS in our home) then that may make her involved some how. ANy lawyers out there please chime in & correct me if I'm wrong.

Have tons of pix, i have a male that looks the same and just had a little of 9 gorgeous putps. LOtsss of negativity around. Its so much BS its unbelievable, They are the biggest lushes ever. It all on how you raise them. Blame the deed not the bread! They were raised to love humans and fight dogs. Its only their name that gives them the rep. I know more people bitten by ROtts and shepards than pits by far. Give me an email or summin I send you a bunch of pix.

Good point! I don't keep my gear at home but I did take this into consideration when I decided to start. I do not want to put my wife or son at ANY risk whatsoever!!

you need to educate her and explain to her in an intelligent way the bennifits as well as the side effects - make her feel that you know what you're doing - it's really about making her feel comfortable with it and comfortable with why you're doing it. I can only say be completely honest and you might be totally suprised with how she responds.

I told my girl of 6 years, actually i discussed it with her before I ever did it and she just said "cool" - trust me i had every bad scenario go through my head about how she would respond. she also understood that test would make me a fuck machine and was actually psyched about that aspect! One thing I know with her is complete honesty is always the way to go.

Everybody that doesn't do steroids, and some who do, have uninformed opinions and rightfully so, the media has done a poor job on covering the subject - it really isn't their fault - it just doesn't affect them personally enough to research it. If it's worth being married to her then you should probably care enough about her opinions to listen and then explain yours. I think she does have a right to know unless you don't sleep in the same bed, share a bank account, share bills (like doctors), insurance, house payments. That's just my opinion. I hope it helps and I hope it all works out for ya bro. Again, sometimes people are much cooler about shit than you may think when you're cool to them and arm them with good information.
 
Okay..I told her. Got the response I anticipated. Shock followed by a touch of anger followed by the regurgitation of falsehoods brought upon her by the media and society in general.

So I took the time to educate her based on the research I had done along with my own personal experience. She definitely calmed down after that and started asking more sensible questions. I answered them all and then she was fine. She was in a state of disbelief for a few minutes because she knows how I am about my body and what goes in it. But all in all it went very well, I'm glad I told her. I feel better now.

FYI to all-if your old lady's name is on the lease/mortgage she can (and will) be implicated for possession if the cops ere ever to find your gear. The way this usually happens is some dumbass at the gym sells to undercover LE, and gets arrested. LE offers them a deal to let them off if they give them a certain number of names of users/dealers. Let's assume the rat gives LE your name. Immediately the cops will start searching your garbage (no warrant needed once the garbage is put out for p/u). If they find empties/used pins that's enough to get a warrant to search your crib. If they find anything in your crib you and whoever else's name is on the lease/mortgage will be arrested-even if your wife is 90 lbs and never touched the stuff. This sucks-but it's just begun. You and wifey will be seperated and put in isolation for hours w/o being able to talk to anyone. This is done to make you sweat so you'll cooperate with them. The cops will act as if you just admit possession that your problems will go away-which is total bullshit. Admitting guilt will only give them a better case against you and minimize your chances of the prosecutor offering you a plea bargain that you can live with. Now lets just say you and wifey are swift enough to deny any knowledge of the roids being in your living quarters(smart move-I don't care if your name is handwritten in your handwriting on every bottle of shit you have-you deny any knowledge of it's existence in your home). It's still not over. This is when the cops dummy up a document stating that you're saying the roids belong to your wife and forge your signature. They show this document to your wife. She flips out, and in return she actually signs a document that pins the roids on you. Now guess who the #1 witness against you will be when you go to court? Your wife-and she will be ordered to testify against you in court. Now you're both fucked because not only is she admitting knowledge of the roids being present in your home(instant conspiracy charge for her), she is also going to be the #1 witness against you in your court case for possession. You will both have seperate trials-that means you'll need to pay double in attorney fees. Most criminal lawyers will require $5K up front to even look at your case-so that's $10K out of pocket right there. If/when your case goes to trial, you're looking at another $5K-$15K a piece at least-and there's still a chance that one or both of you could lose your case!!! If you lose, you're looking at more fines, community service, and/or even jail time(especially if you already have a criminal record). The cops may even seize your house and vehicles and take the $$$ in your bank accounts if they have enough dirt on you. Just imagine the effect this would have on your relationship-especially if you have kids (which could possibly wind up in foster homes while you both serve your time).

With all this being said there are a few things you can do to prevent this. First off would be to never discuss your AS use with anyone(easier said than done-especially if you rely on obtaining gear through gym dealers). Second would be to deny-deny-deny any knowledge of roids being in your crib-even if the cops find them under your pillow in your bedroom. No matter what the cops tell you, you will not get a better deal or be any better off by cooperating. Third would be to never, ever dispose empty AS boxes/vials/pins in your garbage at home. 99% of the guys I know that have been busted for possession were busted because a rat spit their name and the cops obtained a search warrant by finding empties while searching through their garbage.

Anybody still think that they should hide their felony roid behavior from wifey???

Well Bro I'm glad to see you that you want to tell you're wife that you cycle, it's the right thing to do.


I'll share with you how I told my girl friend that I did steroids. I was always going to tell her I just wanted her to really get to know me, when I felt the time was right, about 4 months, I sat her down and told her that I had something to tell her. I reassured her that it was nothing bad and that it in know way did it involved her or that anyone was in trouble, it had to do with me personally.

I told her that I was always going to tell her but that I waited till now because I wanted her to get to know me and know beyond the shadow of a doubt that I was a good and non-violent guy. That would eliminate the aggressive violent reputation that plagues steroid users. I then explained how they work and that through well-informed and educated use that there were next to no side-effects.

She commended me for being honest and that as long as it would not harm anyone of us she was cool with it. Now she asks to see it and wants to smell and taste it, I told her that that was not an option! LOL

Bottom line is, she loves the fact that I'm healthy and in shape, it encourages her to go to the gym herself. So don't be afraid, I know it's probably not going to be easy at first but if your wife is a reasonable person then she will hear you out.

True dat!!! Anyone that has a relationship where they regularly wear a social mask around their significant other is bound to wind up ending in resentment, infidelity, and a divorce. It's not a matter of if, but when. Still it's easier for both people to blame the roids because it's easier than admitting to yourself that you're with the wrong person.
 
Until Gear is not schedule III ie: my ass can end up in paying hefty fines & possible jail time (let alone damage to job, family, etc.) I tell no one whatsover...that includes the wifey-

only problem is finding good hiding spaces :p

Yeah here's the problem with telling any women. If things go south, she can really screw you up. I'm a firm believer in keeping all information on a need to know basis. I can't see why a woman needs to know anything that she could potentially use against me.

One day after telling her and nothing more has been said. I thought she would have at least ONE question!! I guess my presentation and follow-up were very effective and thorough.

I think the real truth is she knows that I would never do anything like this without tons of leg-work and research. Bottom line is she knows I won't do anything stupid with my body and especially my family.

she knows i did. don't know i still do. i guess she suspects but never asks. all u guys who say u have to educate your wife, is BS. at least for me. she's straight as an arrow. don't know how we get along so good. all the education in the world would not make her think AS are ok. she's a teacher and all drugs are bad. besides if all u guys who think your wife is cool w/ knowing about it, ever get divorced, it's just ammo she can use against u. fuck that. this is about the only thing i keep on the DL from her. less aggrivation and stress this way-for her and i. when we were going out and i was only around 20 i even kept my shit at her mom's house for awhile. now i just have a huge subwoofer in basement stuffed w/ shit.

She has no probs with it and usually does the sticks. In fact got her started on HGH and she loves it.
 
When we met 15 years ago I made no attempt to hide it from her. Since she was OK with it then, I haven't bothered to tell her that I'm resuming.
