I remember Cracker Rot from the Musclemag board.  For the first couple of weeks he would beg people to critique his routine.  Everyday is was a new routine and everyday he begged for people to critique it.  Then he discovered Max-OT and became an expert.
All of a sudden he was making fun of people who were asking for advice and basically just putting people down and preaching Max-OT techniques, which we all quickly realized was compound lifts for heavy weight and low reps.  Nothing revolutionary.
I always thought he was a jackass.
