Does cackerot69 and Belial really like this board?

Hey now, anyone naming themselves after an invincible little cartoon can't be all that bad.

awe -Be nice-hes just a little guy.

Aww, did I say something there that hurt your feelings?

Cry about it.

:bawling:

-------------------------

Don't take a post out of context and be a prick about it just because both of us handed you your ass in a recent debate, little buddy. I call 'em as I see 'em. Some smart folks over here, but C&C (and between the sheets) are a bit of a joke, and there are a lot of people here who have no clue what they're talking about.

The irony was that most of the people over there posted here in the past (and over at mm.com), and left because of the ignorant, needlessly combative pr|cks (like yourself) who occasionally crop up. That's why we found it funny when monstar said he was leaving for this "new board". (btw, we had just shot HIS ass down in a debate, too).

BTW, I never said I don't like this board, but to say it is better than wannabebig for bodybuilding advice is very laughable.

From Belial: "The irony was that most of the people over there posted here in the past (and over at mm.com), and left because of the ignorant, needlessly combative pr|cks (like yourself) who occasionally crop up. "

If I remember right, Cackerot69 was the first to make a personal attack on me and now you. How can you call me ignorant and combative for posting the truth. By the way how can I take this quote out of context (by both of you on the above link) " Bwahahahahaha!"

I thought that thread was funny as hell.
bwahahaha

I prefer elite, possibly just outa habit right now. I visit them both but I found elite first.

The mention of the flaming, mostly that is in the anabolic board. I've found the other boards to be quite nice.

I think the reason for the laughter was explained quite clearly by both myself and cackerot above.

And the simple fact that you created this thread proves my point (About you being needlessly combative).

Thank you.

Haha OMG Cackerot is only 15 years old? Haha OMG thats CRAZY! Haha I thought he was at least like 20-25. I mean who knows hes obviously smart as hell for a 15 year old... No offense Cackerot I just would have guessed that you were alot older dude. :D

It's still not coming up bro. Thanks anyway...

Cackerot, are you really 15? I mean...I knew you were getting your info out of textbooks but how much training experience can you really have?

This isn't a flame at all (because I know you've put on a lot of mass in a short amount of time using very low-volume training) but...
Hell, if you started at the ripe age of 13, you've only got two years experience in the game. How can you tell any of these guys (with conviction) that what they're doing is dead wrong?

Yep, Cackerot used to preach the gospels of Max-OT on MM. For his age, he seemed to a bit of a know-it-all. That's not to say the kid isn't smart.

Yeah thats what I was thinking I mean no matter how much you read up about bodybuilding being 15 years old you cannot have tried all that many different training routines. I mean no matter what bodybuilding is all about experimentation and variation and finding out what works for you. I find Cackerot often telling people that theyre completely wrong with whatever theyre saying. I mean maybe in a few occasions thats safe to say but different things work for different people.

I remember Cracker Rot from the Musclemag board. For the first couple of weeks he would beg people to critique his routine. Everyday is was a new routine and everyday he begged for people to critique it. Then he discovered Max-OT and became an expert.

All of a sudden he was making fun of people who were asking for advice and basically just putting people down and preaching Max-OT techniques, which we all quickly realized was compound lifts for heavy weight and low reps. Nothing revolutionary.

I always thought he was a jackass.

LOL! That was CRUDE! Haha you crack me up Days of Tantric... especially the last line! I never really cared too much for what Cackerot had to say only because he seemed like he was quoting everything from a textbook or a magazine. Hes a 15 year old walking talking textbook I think but I gotta say the kids smart. You really let him have it!

Yo Monstar- STFU!!!

All you Cack bashers should shut up too. You are just jealous(like me) that you didn't now as much shit about lifting and diet when you were his age. By the time he is your age, he will be bigger and stronger.

Cack is cool in my book! :fro:

Well, I hope you don't think I'm one of those bashers. I respect the kid's knowledge as much as anyone...especially if he's only 15. My God, my brother is 15 and he doesn't know jack shit! Cack sound like he's got a Master's in Exercise Physiology from a good university (that's who I pictured him as initially).

However, I'll be totally honest...academia and scientific research are wonderful...they are the bases for our progression as a race. But experience always has been and always will be the best teacher. I just question how he can be so adamant about one particular style of training when his own experience has been limited...not a flame Cackerot...again, I know you've accomplished a lot. JMHO...

I agree with GenetiKing 100% I got nothing against Cackerot at all all Im saying is that he seems to be a little cocky for a 15 year old thats all. Experience is definitely the #1 teacher in this sport I have been lifting for 5 years now and I am still just LEARNING all the real details of the sport. I mean thats true what I'D RATHER BE DEADLIFTING said I mean if I was 15 and knew as much as he did by the time I was 17-18 I would be fucking jacked as hell. Peace.

It's a shame that age can be so discriminating.

You guys want to get big, and Cackerot can give you the information to get big - despite age and/or experience.

Yes, he IS cocky, but only because he has a point to get across and a lot of the memebers of this board are VERY stubborn.

And for people wondering why the link isn't coming up: I know the onwer of Wannabebig.com and he has told me the server is down, but will be back up asap.

Exactly. Good information is good information, regardless of the source. I think Robboe pretty much summed it up. Shite, I wish I knew as much as that guy when I was his age; I'd be miles ahead of where I am now.

Belial:"Don't take a post out of context and be a prick about it just because both of us handed you your ass in a recent debate, little buddy. "

I wanted to add a quick ps to this quote. Regarding the "debate," I decided to stop posting, not because I ran out of agruments. I enjoy logical and rational debates. That's the purpose of this board, is for the exchange of ideas. However, when personal statements are made, the person who made them is no longer acting rational. A debate w/an irrational person goes nowhere fast, thats why I stopped posting on that thread.

Knowledge and experience go hand in hand.
It's great to read up on theory but to apply it is another thing.

I agree.

Knowledge is one thing...applied knowledge is something totally different.

For example, there are tons of pros who honestly don't know shit about the science of bodybuilding but they look incredible. They just simply do what they're told concerning diet and drugs and have unbelievable genetics.

Then, there are guys (and I went to college with a LOT like this) that know their exercise physiology and nutrition like the back of their hand, but looked like a monkey fucking a football in the gym. You can read all day about what's happening on a cellular level...but when you have 380lbs on your back and you're trying to grind out your 8th squat rep, you're not thinking about glycogen stores, myofibrils, or fascia. All you know at that point is pain. At that point, the key to success (and also what separates the men from the boys) is the capability and the drive to be able to beat back the pain and command your body to forge into newer zones of pain. Therein, success lies in bodybuilding...

Don't get me wrong, we need the science of this sport. It's totally necessary...but it's useless when unapplied.

Anyway, I read the post. Yeah, they were ragging Elite pretty good but you have to expect that from another board. I'll admit, there are some dumb and repetitive questions posted on here but that's mainly due to the large number of newbies that come here looking for beginning advice. We get a lot of those but I don't mind helping them out if they sound serious about their goals. It's the ones that go, "Help me get cut so I can get laid at the beach," that piss me off.

Hell, if they wanna rag on Elite and it's members, who honestly cares? Let them. I just don't understand why they would post here if we suck so bad. There are some good bros here, who are educated and have solid experience in the iron game. And the anabolic board is excellent (if you know who to listen to...2Thick, The Ranger, Big Brother Val, Ultragainz, Mustang_18, etc.) for advice and recommendations on cycles.

JMO.....

Hey, it wasn't across-the-board ragging. I think it was a little bit of amusement at the implication that: A) Elite was news to us, and B) it's a better source for information.

True, what you get from a place is all about filtering the good from the bad, and contributing on the same level as you hope to benefit.

No flames intended here; and I think it was wrong for that link to be posted out of context.

referring a the thread in question: http://209.11.101.244/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=23966

Yes, I did take a cheap shot. I apologize. But the remainder of the thread was intelligent conversation.

Other threads like this, that I had seen earlier, maybe gave me the wrong impression of you:

http://209.11.101.244/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=22971

So maybe I was predisposed to be a bit dismissive.

What was immature and unnecessary was creating THIS thread in the first place. What was the point of it? To start trouble? To get opinion turned against us? Please explain this.

Genetiking- lots of those guys you mentioned post elsewhere because they're disgusted with many of the people on this board. They come back, but mostly out of habit. Like i said, the signal to noise ratio on this board gets a little tiring sometimes. Then again, if it wasn't worth coming here, I'd never post. It's like any community; there are the good folks and the crappy ones. The only thing that changes is the number of each.

A cheap shot was taken at me so I took one back.

"Yes, I did take a cheap shot. I apologize. But the remainder of the thread was intelligent conversation."

I enjoy logical and rational debates. That's the purpose of this board, is for the exchange of ideas. However, when personal statements are made, the person who made them is no longer thinking critically about my arguments. Thats why I stopped posting. In any case, my apologies to you as well. From the posts I've read by you, I think we may be saying the same things (in regards to exercise), but we word it differently. Hopefully from hearout, if we have differing opinions, they can be handled constructively.

Sometimes I give short answers because I don't have the time to argue my position.

LOL, well said.

Fair enough, man. To tell the truth, I hate arguing with people I usually agree with. I think this has been dragged out a bit. Time to get constructive again.

Peace.
