Does anyone know where to get the best price on Isopure Chocolate Protein Powder?

is the only difference the 3g of carbs per serving?
Bran honey, you're the one who wants it! :qt:

Fat and carbs, actually, from what I can tell.

Darned pricey stuff, I thought the protein powder I liked was expensive! 'Course, I'm weird, I only like totally, totally plain stuff.

Want to check it out??? I like this company and the whey isolate is very pleasant, blends easily:

I thought whey was OK to use at any time as long as you mix it with carbs and/or fats?
Milk Isolate and Caseinate have much better balanced amino acid scores, whey has VERY low levels of glutamine. Milk Isolate has 38% more glutamine in its natural form than Whey Isolate.

Also, to seperate whey from casein most companies use an acid process that destroys the microfractions you hear about so much, which means even if the whey is isolated via microfiltration etc. the microfractions have already been destroyed. Milk isolate is microfiltered which keeps the fractions intact, which is another reason I'm a big fan of milk isolate.

You'll at least need a shaker cup and a blender is preferable. I use a lot of water (24 oz for 60g Shake). I typically go with vanilla and flavor it as I see fit.

I need somethin' that will mix easily at work, damn. I can't setup a blender at my desk they'd think I was a freakin' lunatic.

it says that 5 lbs. is on sale for $29.99? Isn't that the same price?!
If the brand isn't important, you're JUST looking for CHEAP and DEEP:

OR

http://www.bulknutrition.com/

Now, you can't have a blender at work, do they have like a small kitchen area? The reason I ask, and don't laugh, what about an inexpensive stick blender? Even the best powders are kind of clumpy without a thorough blending.

Otherwise I'd say premeasure/mix the powder up at home in the morning before you go to work.

OK thanks, I'll think about that! Actually I can mix up Optimum Nutrition in a shaker and it's just like I blended it. As far as brand I just want to feel comfortable it's from a reputable source that's actually putting protein in the bottle and not just flavored dirt :( I worry about that when I buy the dirt cheap no brand name stuff do you?

I totally agree with you. I have a touchy system and All the Whey's isolate has never upset my stomach or given me uh, gasseous problems. I add the unflavored to a cup of 1% milk and it's totally palatable, hell, it's fine in a glass of water!

I think as long as it's a reasonably recognizable name, you can't go wrong.

The first link in the post with the two links, they actually have a search feature, you can put in what you're looking for, including best sellers and price and protein/fat/carb and hit go and it gives you a list of their products that fall within your search parameters and it gives you the Per SERVING cost, which is the best gauge of actual price.
