Does anybody here believe OJ Simpson to be innocent?

Just curious, as it seems like common knowledge that we was guilty as sin and only saved by the ineptitude of the prosecution.

Anybody care to differ, and more importantly, offer any reasons why you differ?
 
I should clarify...innocent of the murder of his wife and her hubby.

the court didnt find him innocent. They just couldnt convict him because the prosecution couldnt meet their burden of proving O.J. guilty beyond a reasonable doubt..big difference.

Didn't OJ say he was going to do everything in his power to find the person responsible. And then every picture of him after that was of him playing golf. Must be some murdering caddy roaming the links somewhere. I think his friend, or white bronco chauffeur, Al Cowling knows more about this than came out and I don't recall seeing him at the trial.

In the eyes of the government there is no difference. He was still held responsible in the civil proceeding. In the eyes of the populace I would believe that he is not innocent. Only he truly knows, and if there is a great wheel of life to be judged upon at death, I believe he will be found wanting.
 
It's a legal term. It simply means the prosecution did not meet its burden. They did not do their job effectively. This burden is used with regard to all criminal trials.

There are a number of burdens of proof in law, each having differing levels of the burden of proof. some examples are: beyond a reasonable doubt, presumption of innocence, clear and convincing evidence, preponderance of evidence.

Here we go again. You never know where these threads are gonna turn. Best of all time in his prime, Mike Tyson. Watching his early fights it appeared as though you were watching a tape on fast forward. The man was blazing fast and extremely powerful. Joe Frazier knocked Ali down, Norton broke his jaw. Tyson would have caved his face in and shut his big mouth.

But once Buster Douglas knocked out Mike Tyson, many would say he never really woke up. Frazier is a much better opponent than anyone Tyson fought.

The main reason people still talk about it is because they think that the court system failed. Also because it shows their is still racism in America today. I think many people were in denial that racism did still exist and this court case just proves it.

I'll never forget the reactions seen across America when the not guilty verdict was given. A room of white people watching TV just about shit themselves in shock. And a room of black people shit themselves out of joy.

Well, my father and I hired an investigator over the summer and this guy happened to be in charge of all the investigation in the Chicago area for the OJ case. This invetsigator has also been on CNN and MSNBC and has been instrumental in solving other high profile cases. Anyway, he said that OJ did not kill Nicole and in fact, OJ's adult son did because Nicole and the adult son were sleeping together and he killed her and OJ covered up for him.

Quick question: do you think that if the trial was done over again today (and there was no cop involved making any inappropriate comments about someones race) that juice would be found not guilty?

I, and a lot of other folks, simply think that there were way too many small mistakes/mishaps made by the prosecution that allowed OJ to walk.

I still cant decide whether or not to label that as "sad" since I honestly did like the guy. My parents met him a few times back in the day and said he was the nicest person.

OJ was way too rich and famous to go to jail. He still would have been found not guilty like Rober Blake. Once I think about even if found guilty he wouldn't have had a very strict sentince or ppunishment. He would have probably been charged with voluntary manslaughter or some other lesser crime.

Well when criminalists mishandle evidence and it was even recorded during the case the blood evidence may have been taken out of the lab... That point should be (and was) taken into account

The bronco (with blood on it) was not recorded into the police impounds but when it was located it had blood all over it , lol

Even 75th could have done a better frame job

Dateline NBC about 3 months back they did a recap of the aftermath of the OJ trial. You should have watched it. It spent about 40 minutes exploring the divided reaction based on race.

Talk about not having the first clue of what you are talking about.

Everyone knows you are a racist retard ("RR" from now on), so I was interested to hear some more of your pathetic "reasoning."

Get over it people. Our courts make mistakes every day. Many times a guilty person goes free and occasionally an innocent one goes to prison. There's no such thing as a perfect judicial system.
 
75th is not racist on this board. He seems to say what is on a lot of peoples minds and it happens to be very un-PC, but not racist. If that makes him a racist its only because the label "racist" is thrown around too loosely.
In case anyone forgot the actual definition or racism or racist:

Discrimination or prejudice based on race.
Racist: based on racial intolerance; "racist remarks" 2: discriminatory especially on the basis of race or religion. Antiblack, anti-Semitic, anti-Semite. A person with a prejudiced belief that one race is superior to others.
Show me where 75th fits this definition and maybe your accusations will have merit.
