Documentary "Walmart The high cost of low price"

the documentary is really interesting.

they say that even though we think we are paying less, we are actually paying more. most full-time employees at wal mart are also on welfare and other gov. agency programs. so our government using our tax dollars are supporting many wal mart employees

It's a propaganda film....


Technically, my mother is on a government program while working at Walmart...Medicare and Social Security...she's approaching 80 but she works 30 hours a week and has nothing bad to say about Walmart or her working conditions. Her Walmart job is beneficial to her because when people in my family stop working we die quickly...It was sad to watch my father degrade so quickly and die after he retired...

Seen it. Not sure about the spin on it, but a good movie nonetheless.

However, I don't see it as a critique of Walmart per see but the whole retail system.
