Doc,hoy me dieron los resultados y tengo cita con el ortopeda el jueves, asi que si me puedes leer esto y decir mas o menos como tu ves el cuadro clinico te lo agradecere.
MRI of left shoulder
Evaluation of the rotator cuff show increased T1 signal within the critical zone of the supraspinatus suggestive of tendinitis. The AC joint shows degenerative changes with infrior spur formation suggestive of mild shoulder impingement syndrome. The acromion configuation appears to be type 3.The glenohumeral joint appears unremarkable and the anterior and posterior labrum appears of normal T1 signal. The bicipital tendon shows normal signal without evidene of abnormalities.Visualization of the teres minor muscle shows increased T1/T2 signal wich may suggest the possibility of muscle contusion or hemorrhage due to prior trauma, please correlate clinically.Another consideration will be atrophy, however,no evidence of muscle volume loss is identified. The osseous structures appears intact without evidence of fracture deformities.
IMPRESION:
1- Increase T1/T2 signal within the teres minor muscle wich may suggest bloody contusion to this muscle, please correlate clinically and consider follow-up ezamination in 3 weeks to assess resolution of this finding and to exclude anomalies within the axillary nerve at this level.
2- Tendinitis of the rotator cuff with associated mild impingement syndrome secondary to degenerative change of the AC joint.
