SO...what do you think? remember...these guys are athletes and want to succeed more than anyone else. the owners would also benefit from better stronger players.....and so would the television companies....

I know what u are saying, but everyday there is a post like:

Does Vin Diesel Juice
Give me a cycle so I can look like a Abercrombie Model
Do movie stars and athletes juice

Its pointless. Bring this to the chat board. No offense but I could careless about anyone's physique aside from my own. This board is to learn about anabolics. That's it.

Espn did an article that didnt get much publicicty because Espn lives off sports. They found test results from individual teams, which arent required to report to MLB, that 3 out of 5 players from spring training each year test pos for gear.

Look at Sosa, He is huge in the spring. Throught the course of the year, loses some size.

Look at Big Mac as a rookie, he has put on some 40lbs of solid muscle. ANDRO?? No way!

I heard about a bust made on a shit load of cyclists. They raided their houses at night and found shit like EPO which I gather increases your endurance like nothing else.

Man-Child, just curious haow you know for a fact?

absolutely - the stakes and the $$$ is too high not to - they push it in any way they can, supplements, AS, nutrition.

Yeah, the funny thing is that it is not just the power-sports that dope. I knew a competitive cyclist who told me what those guys do, and alot of it involves substances much more dangerous than AS.

As for drug testing.... it really is a front in alot of cases. Something is funny with the NFL system, as I know players who use gear with long detection times that never get nabbed.

I have tons of friends that played football at a certain big ten school...and I would say that 75% of them are jacked up. They go to the pros and just get bigger and bigger and leaner and leaner. I lived with a certain defensive end that went in the draft this past year and he had abs...and I don't mean abs...I mean ABS!!!! at almost 290 pounds. I just went over the 290 pound mark and if I could see anything besides my belly button on my gut I would be happy Haha. Hopefully he won't forget me when he gets those big ass paychecks, that way I can do some really nice cycles hehe.

just think how much stronger u r after 5 cycles.

then think could u of reached that naturally.

then ask urself would any power/strength athlete however hard training and gifted. by able to stick with juicers who work just as hard and started off with just as good genetics.

a good friend of mine has pitched for the Giants, Reds and Phillies over the last 10 years. He told me it wasnt common with the pitchers or finesse players but a lot of the power hitters used them every off season.

the guy who stands out to me is that big freakin linebacker with the 49ers with the cro-magnon man jawbone and forehead. Fuckin guy looks like Frankenstien....

Pitchers wont use gear nearly as often as position players. Pitchers get their speed, not from muscles, but flexability. I pitched all through HS and college. I was a ML propect untill I used weights in college. I went from throwing low 90's to low to mid 80's in a span of 6 months. I wanst involved in stretching, so I lost so much of that flexability crutial to velocity. I became a first baseman and kept training.

In baseball its more likely that a position player would use gear in the off season.

Lawnsaver, you're a moron. Big Mac Got big from andro and creatine.:p

most baseball player hitting opposite field homeruns deep have juiced... think about where the poser in the bat speed comes ... from the hips... they turn thru the ball... when the hips dont turn not a lot of batspeed is produced same as in many sports golf hockey... so what they are basically doin is hitin homeruns deep with just theyre arms... play wiffle ball like that see its tuff then turn ur hips tru the ball... it goes further... even my old baseball coach says it peace smurf

I have to disagree that pitchers dont use gear. The Boston Herald had a story about a pitcher in the Red Sox minor league system who started juicing and started to throw harder . He ran into some problems though, now hes trying to make it w/out the gear. I think he tested positive and they keep an eye on him. He was probably just a scapegoat , so the team can say that they test. Also , finesse players juice to. Look at Manny Alexander for the Red Sox. He had his gear in the glove box. DUMB ASS!

well all I have to say is that 85% of all pro athletes use AS, and did you happen to see the mlb allstar game, well I watched the homerun derby and all competitors except gonzales and a-rod had fuckin test bloats and fat cypionate faces, did you see barry bonds, now when has he ever hit homers like this, not to mention he had a steroid face also, and a guy who was also puffy was brett boone, now when has brett boone ever been in a homerun derby, he is a second baseman, go figure!

Ummm 40 pounds in 10 years isnt a lot lol...But i agree he does have a puffy ass face.

Must say you are wrong on this. The reason I say it is I have experience in this exact scenario. I attended a small private college in Florida. Anyway I met a guy at the gym who played on the schools baseball team, a pitcher. He kept asking me to get him juice so eventually I started getting him stuff. He really like d-bol pills. The end result was his fastball went from the high 80's to mid 90's and he was drafted by the Florida Marlins. Do not know how he is doing now, last I heard he was in AA as a relief pitcher. From what I gathered from other guys on the team he was not that good a pitcher and the reason he was drafted was the velocity of his fastball. Bottom line, the juice got him drafted.

BTW what the fuck is a "steroid face". Do you really think Barry Bonds is on juice? Now I think most pro athletes take juice but guys like Griffey and Bonds are probably ones who do not. They are just genetic freaks who have been good they're whole life. And Bonds does have over 500 career homers so yes he has been hitting homeruns his entire career. I would look more to the one time marginal player who improved his power number significantly over his career. Someone like Lenny Dykstra. Remember him, he was a little runt when he came up with the Mets and by 1993 with the Phillies he was probably 30 pounds heavier, leaner and hitting homers.

Guys Guys Guys, they all take them in one way or another.

NFL players get tested but they aren't random. Its a scheduled drug test so players know when they have to be clean.

NBA players get tested as well, but there's are also scheduled. I read somewhere and also heard it on the Last Word with Jim Rome that something like 90% of NBA players smoked weed in season. And besides, those bball players are thicker and thicker each year.

And yes, I also noticed Brett Boone in the All Star game. How obvious was that :)

In high school, way back in 1982, a friend of mine who also played football was approached by a major university. Shortly after that, he started getting really big. He also had much more acne than he normally did. He finished college and went on to play several years as a lineman for [an NFL team], and he has just gotten bigger and bigger over the years. Did they have creatine back in 1982? Maybe he took Weider protein supplents and weight gain?

when you have 2 three hundred pounders run straight into each other and get up right after, something have to give

Where the hell did this thread come from?

I think i posted it about a year ago!

I don't know- i didn't bump it. It was at the top of the page today for some reason......

they can be mediocre their whole life or juice. for just a few thousand dollars they can make them better and their team can win more trophies, which means more money so it is in their interests to do it. i bet the teams even provide them with high quality gear.

Hey NIMROD25

You were always SOOOO knowledgable?

You always knew all the answers?

SO WHAT? i asked a stupid question a year ago. Well....you just made a stupid comment today.

At least i have learned soemthing in a year....you will never learn anything.

NO Doubt

No doubt alot of pro athletes use steroids! baseball and football players especially! O and nascar drivers........lol

I currently play professional baseball, and I would say at least 50% juice or have juiced. I have been playing naturally for 7 yrs...Managed to make it to the show naturally, but it is VERY tough to compete without some "help". Like Lawnsaver said most users like myself are position players..but I know MANY pitchers that use Winny and Anavar for its strength effects. I've been on here for about a yr doing research and am starting slow..currently using Anavar for Strength, as I don't want much weight gain, but 10lbs wouldn't hurt anybody. My buddy played with Sosa in 98 and he said he gained 25lbs in a month and dropped 20+ bombs in that same month.

its funny to see this thread sart out saying bonds didnt use and now seeing that he has, well good for him. and as for answering i would have to say hell yeah they use! all of the pressure to be the best from their coaches, agents, media and their families. who wouldnt use under those circumstances if they felt they needed too.

I have a great friend of mine in the minor leagues that will hopefully turn pro soon, he is a pithcher and he is in the off season right now and is running Test, and a bombs, he has gained about 25 pounds. But his fast ball has went up to like 95 from 89 which is a lot. He says more then half the player juice, its amazing to see how they get away with it and pass the drug test. Let me tell you there is ways around everything. Just thought i would give my 2cents. Later guys

I'm not sure if any of you fallow Pro Motocross in the states, I worked as a Pro Riders mechanic for the past few years and A LOT of riders use Winstrol and other roids. The rider I used to work for is looking into now, Funny thing is that steroids are not a banned drug by the AMA (Governing body) and with riders making up to 6mil a year salary they are going to do what ever it takes to win and make there money.

Although I'm not sure if I go along with the 99.99% of athletes juice angle, the truth is that some pitchers even juice. How do I know? Well, for one thing when Chuck Finley was involved in a divorce with Tawny Kitaen (sp?) she ratted him out for steroids. I read the actual divorce papers at The Smoking Gun, and she told a pretty convincing story.

Also, I've pretty well suspected guys like Roger Clemens were probably on something. Now, I doubt a guy like that would be using a bodybuilder type cycle, but I suspect he probably at times uses steroids for the fairly legitimate purpose of replacing testosterone that he would have had in his twenties so that he can recover from injuries and maintain his substantial thigh mass. (Dude's 42.)

Now, here's what I think is funny that most casual baseball fans don't realize: nobody in history has hit more homeruns in a season that Roger Maris without using steroids. That's just a fact, and anybody who thinks otherwise is naive.

Absolutely, maybe some less now with Bonds and Caminiti's death etc.

That is a good joke-- Do they take steroids!!! hahahahahahaha

The questions should be, which athelets take the most steroids besides pro bodybuilders?

You fucking Moron....:redhot:

Got common sense?

My friend works for the Miami Dolphins-- He said David Boston reported for training camp at 265lbs while under 8-9%bf---he said his playing weight would be about 230--

When you have cyclists, tennis players and soccer players testing positive.. it makes you wonder what sports are steroids not a factor. i think you`d find that any power sport or endurance sport, steroids are a major factor

of course some do and of course they have the money for the best and the money to pass the tests if there smart

Does the shark shit in the ocean?

Seriously, if a pro athlete is at the top of their game, yes. Genetics, perserverance, and talent can only be taken so far naturally.

Forget about Barry Bonds' pre 1998 and post 2001 photos. Have you seen Serena Williams pre 1999 and post 2004 photos? Da sista is stoked!

i know they do ... i have 2 friends that are in prof sports. and they tell me all the time about the people who do it. and the testing is a JOKE
