I always open the door for a woman. And if I get to a door just before anyone else, I'll hold it open and step aside to let them through.

My first wife used to stop in front of doors and wait for me to open them; even if she was 15 feet in front of me. I always thought that was a bit much on her part but it didn't bother me.

I'm just not patient enough to let a guy open the car door for me. It makes me feel like a priss to be sitting there waiting for a dude to walk around the car. Now a door to a building is different. He can get it if he gets there before me, but it's not something I require. It's more important to me that he shows his respect for me in different ways.

I was thinking more on the lines of how he talked to me, not using his cell phone thru dinner, and chewing with his mouth closed, but yea I guess that should be at the top of the list too.
