For noise cancellation, I have the "cheap" travel headphones from Sony. I think it's rated at 90%. I could have bought the 98% cancellation rating, but I didn't want to spend the additional 100.

Apple just recently sent me a new ipod for free, and it was the newer smaller version so I had to get a new docking station because it wouldn't work w/my old one. Picked up one made by JBL. It sounds pretty damn good.

Yea, I read that before I bought it. It actually is more diverse sounding than the rating gives credit for. There is a remote to control treble and bass/bass boost; when adjusted most anything out of those speakers will sound good.
