simple yes or no. i personally think that they are private messages and should not be read by moderators. i feel so violated knowing that some fag mod was probably beating off to a conversation i was having with a chick.
 
This is cyberland my friends. There is no such thing as a private message, anywhere. I couldln't give a squirt of piss who reads my pms. If I have something personal to say, the last place i will say it is in a PM on a privately-owned chat board.

I think anyone who sends a "private message" under the belief that it will be secure is living in a dreamworld.

Also, this is Big George's board. I don't know it for a fact, but I've just always assumed that he, and possibly the mods, have access to the pms, and to the "encrypted" mail for that matter. I don't believe any of us have any right to privacy here.

well then why offer a private messge option? i am all for geroge and his admin being able to read pm's but the mods? no fuckin way.

So, do I care if "someone" reads my PM's? No, 'cause if I'm dumb enough to say anything INCRIMINATING--which is the ONLY reason one would need to get all pissed off (I'm sorry, dballer, I have to take "their" side here, even though I see what you're saying) about...If it's just banter, talking about someone/thing, who gives a shit?

Now, when it comes to EDITING a post, as was done on the poll about countries yesterday, is 110% UNETHICAL, and the moderator who was/is responsible should be BANNED!!

I cannot speak for George or the admin, and I may be wrong on this, but to my knowledge the Mods have no access to the members PM's or Mail accounts JZ....

You guys are giving us more abilities then we have. We CANNOT read PMs, we cannot find out your passwords, we cannot delete threads, we cannot ban you.

We CAN move threads to other forums, move threads to the recycling bin, lock threads, and edit posts.


Please, stop being paranoid, no one is reading your PMs. No one.

EVEN the THOUGHT of reading your emails or PM's would NEVER occur to me......

Could the board members please take a reality check and just realize what is going on: some little fucking, pimply-faced, 95#, pencil-necked, computer geek, pissants who have never seen a real live pussy up close and personal have waaaaaaay too much time on their hands and are trying to fuck with the people that used to toss them in the trash cans in high school for shits and giggles. (not condoning hazing at all)

First, I don't have time to read all of the boards much less the PMs. Secondly, I do not know how to read the PM's. And third, I would not read them if I could. Fourth, MODS cannot read them either.

As I understand, it is technically possible to read the PMs -- as I believe our director of security could if necessary, but it is not possible to read elitefitness.com email.

thank you for the explanation. maybe you could explain to your retarded mod, organon canon, that i have never hacked into anyones account, let alone hack into the mod forum. i have never said anything on these boards that would smear you. thus, when one of your mods accuses me of a serious offence which i have not committed, i take it as you trying to smear me since these people work for you and you have the ability to instruct them not to make false accusations.

I hear that the mods can do anything they want to on this board. Rumor has it that some of them got togeather and gang banged a 7 year old boy (cyberstyle).

Fuck no they shouldnt be able to read PM"s.
 
The Mods and George said they can't read PM's and I believe them. The accused should be presumed innocent until proven guilty anyway. Nothing burns my ass more than being accused of doing something that I did not do. Sure is too much bitching by members about the board sometimes. Why? It is free...you can leave. It is privately owned and operated. What would you think if people came to your party and bitched loudly while accusing you of deviant behavior.

As far as my PM box goes......there isn't much in there that would mean anything to anybody but me so mods could help themselves.
