Do we burn more training outdoors than inside the gym?

It doesn't matter.
What matters is the type of activity, intensity and volume.
Do what pleases you most. The ideal is to continue exercising, so it has to be enjoyable.

You will lose more weight training outside since it's hotter and you will sweat more. You didn't loose more body fat, you just lost more water weight since you sweat more.

Athletes exercising outdoors need to be meticulous about their hydration
