Do some of the pros eat junk in the off season??

bottom line is with sub-par genetics, your diet will need to be stricter than others

train/aas for development, diet for appearance

they are pros because they know what works for them and not by following what muscle and fitness says to eat

Swole, what do you think I should do? I have a VERY fast metabolism and I've had to cut down the cardio to minimal levels because I was losing too much weight in the face - one mate told me I look like I am in competition condition from the look in my face! I would appreciate your help on this.

Diet is overrated. You need protein fat and carbs and lots of 'em all if you want to grow.

I've spoken to hundreds of pros, past and present, and I can count on one hand who kept clean diets. The big difference between the old timers and the new guys is the old timers stayed fit with lots of volume training whereas the newer guys will just shove anything into their gullet along with GH, slin IGF and whatever else -- ANYTHING to just get bigger.

I'd say 90% of the people using gear are only getting a fraction of the benifits because they don;t eat enough.

Don't get me started on "cutters" and "clean bulking." :chomp:

There on so much clen , T3, gh, and test there metabolism is like a furnace.

I know Dave Palumbo isnt a pro but you always see pics of him eating mcdonalds. Just getting his fat and protein in and the guy is always shredded.

I know from watching Ronnie Coleman's DVD "The Cost Of Redemption" that he eats (or at least used to eat) at Tony Roma's and Black Eye Peas at least two times a day along with a huge breakfast (2 cups of egg whites along with 3 packages of grits and 3 slices of cheese and a huge cup of coffee, probably 20oz if not more) and at least three 100 gram protein shakes in between meals along with a tackle box full of vitamins, sups, and medication. He eats a ton of BBQ chicken and beef along with corn bread, yellow rice, and baked beans at the restaurants. There's a lot of sugar right there.
On the DVD "Relentless", he cooks more meals at home but they consist of 2 1/3 lbs burger patties smothered in BBQ sauce along with a chicken smothered in BBQ sauce, with a large serving of steamed white rice which cheese seasoning on top. Breakfast is the same and I thinking he makes at least one trip per day to Black Eye Peas. He doesn't seem to sleep too much either. He goes to sleep around 3AM or 4AM (right after one last 100 grams protein shake) and wakes up around 10AM.
That's a whole lot of eating if you ask me. Diet changes for precontest but it's still a shit load of food, just cleaner and one less protein shake.

How often do you eat the bigmacs? How much fat do you put on in that 5 months?
