Do some of the pros eat junk in the off season??

I know they say they don't but I have heard that Coleman/Dexter Jackson eat Big macs/fries off season....why do they do this? This is something Sanga/Gary would necer advocate (always thought most on here are quite strict all year round)...so whats the truth???

when you weigh over 300 lbs, you eat anything possible for calories... ive heard ronnie got up over 7k a day. try eating that many clean calories!

Its dirty bulking, not clean bulking when they do that. When you are trying to push that much calories some of them start eating whatever they can to get there regardless of how much fat/carbs is in that food. Its all about personal preference.

I hear this a lot. People who need to eat enormous quantities of food to keep a specific bodyweight. Maybe it's my age, but I can maintain 250 lbs bodyweight by eating quite moderately. 3 meals a day would easily do it for me.

it is always best to get your diet needs from a clean diet. some people need so many calories to grow that they have no choice but to junk it up. yes a lot of the pro bb'ers do it.

bottom line is with sub-par genetics, your diet will need to be stricter than others

train/aas for development, diet for appearance

they are pros because they know what works for them and not by following what muscle and fitness says to eat

Well put Swole. I have a buddy who is a junior bodybuilder and when he is bulking he tries to eat as clean as he can, but sometimes he does dip into the junk food. Easy calories.

Most pros cheat a bit in the of season, its all just calories to them at the end of the day. i know trey brewer eats a lot of shit i read a interview where he said he pits out on pizza and ice cream twice a week in the off season, i know dexter is a mad pizza hut fan too, but his got a mad metabolism!

You Bet they Do......Its all about who is going to be the Biggest and Badest come contest time.
