Do British keyboards have a pound symbol in place of the $ on American keyboards?

they still have the $ sign

you can make any symbol using the keypad - certian combinations of numbers make the different symbols

or what ever symbol you use. hows that work?

are you bored?

LOL

I'm not sure what you mean, but the british pound symbol is on the 3 key of their keyboard. The dollar sign remains on the 4.

oHHHHH...on thier keyboard.

strange we call this pound ...# ...and its on 3.

and they call this pound ..££... and its on 3.

It's a different pound. It's as if our dollar shared the same name as Ampersand, or Percent or something. They still call # a pound symbol as far as I know.

Since your name is actually Daisy, when you say that you sound like you are mentally handicapped and are talking to yourself after you made a poopie in your pants.

You OWNED by your lack of intelligence.

it took me about 3 months to get used to the f'd up layout of the german keyboards (after using all my life american kbs).

just imagine typing in english, when you have these characters öäüß all over the place, where normal day-to-day letters used to be.

to make things worse, for some reason, the letters zx are inverted (z is where x is in the american keyb and viceversa...)
