I didn't mean to sound like a know it all (because, OBVIOUSLY I'm NOT), or like a bitch (ok, that I AM), or judgmental (wellll, I'm this pretty frequently), but it was an important point and I felt like he just wasn't gettin' it.....

What we do to our own bodies and minds is our own personal business and Lord knows I've pumped some pretty shitty stuff into the old bod over the years....

But, TO ME, it's the ultimate in selfish and disgusting to risk the health of your child (or future children) to avoid some hard dieting and cardio.

yea well everyone here is trying to tell this guy that dnp is no joke and that the possible future of his girl having egg damage is very likely and he doesnt seem to grasp the severity of the situation. I know i may have come on strong and i do apologize but im trying to tell this guy that dnp is serious business and if it meant causing MY girlfriend damage in return for a few less pounds of fat...id tell her not to do it. Take this advice however you like.

thx alot for the advice.. now if someone could show me proof of documentation that it does damage eggs.. i have talked to several woman that have taken it and have never complained about any physical damage.. i would just like to see some medical studies that show proof that it can damage eggs.. because lord knows we would not want that..

oh and another thing.. i get tired of people saying dont take steroids or dnp they will kill you.. but people are quick to say take things with ephedrine in them.. i guarantee there are way more deaths related to ephedrine based products than steroids or dnp...

Because this is an internet board, all sorts of info is going to fly across. Some people come on to repeat the stuff that they "think" they know and some actually get a kick out of perpetuating misinformation. Thus it is left up to the reader/visitor/poster to take everything he / she reads w/ a certain grain of salt. Additionally it is ultimately up to him/her to choose how to move forward (or not) with whatever is the issue, given the information or crap that has been supplied.

DNP is still extremely controversial. Those warnings are well-intended and may be based on personal experience or not. I think the best thing that can be brought away from this particular thread is the selection of personal experiences and also as much real information as possible. Frankly I'm sure every one of the "supps" discussed on this board has at least a few horror stories associated w/ it.

FE is indeed very intelligent for wanting to see the hard facts. I've been digging through my collected stuff to find the answers. But I would like to kick this to the top for macro or Fonz to address the egg question. I can't find the specific reference I thought I had.

Bottom line is research and educate...she needs to be informed of everything...she also needs to make sure her diet and training is 100% ON!!!! Taking shit doesn't pick up the slack and it doesn't work any kind of miracles...and how long will the results she gets from dnp last?? Keep that in mind too...

thx again sassy69.. great post.. and thx new@gettinbig.. we talked about it tonight and i had told her the pros and cons and she said she wanted to read all the info i had gathered so far.. she really wants to lose weight, but at the same time doesnt want to harm herself.. obesity runs in her family and she doesnt want it to get out of hand... She didnt gain the weight by eating like a pig.. she gained most of it because of birthcontrol.. mainly depot shot.. which her doctor took her off of because of the weight gains.. now she is on a diverent shot that has not shown any weight gains with her.. now she just wants to get where she was.. i know she can do it and i will help her all the way through it..
