HIIT I've been doing for a week, jump roping like 4-5 days, just got it.
A week is way too soon to notice anything. But my question was how long have you been running and just focusing on cardio in general cuz somethings not adding up here. either your diet is jacked up or youve only been doing all this for a short time and are expecting too much too soon.

I go by weight and bodyfat measures everyweek with my trainer. Ive been running for about 6 months, lots almost 50 pounds total. Been changing up my cardio routine every month about. I think maybe I'm expecting too much because my trainer was telling me the last few pounds aren't going to go as easily as the other pounds did, especially since I have little now to lose compared to the lot I had before (used to be like 25-28% BF, somewhere around there).

I've tried dnp at 200 and 400mg/day. Honestly, I lose fat faster and am more comfortable just doing cardio every day. Dnp is just not worth it, unfortuneatly. I wanted a shortcut, but there are none that are worth it.

Going from 50 pounds and 25%+ bodyfat to 11% in 6 months is a big change and your body might not be designed to go beyond that. Some people are naturally skinny and have to do all they can to gain weight and dont go beyond a certain weight, you are the opposite apparently. Just be thankful you achieved what you have because so many people arent able to.

Hey folks, I've been following this thread from the start and I was trying to see where it would go before I said anything.. but anyhow,

I took dnp about a year ago, looking back at my journal I was taking 200mg for about a week and I was pretty "warm" all day. I mean I would have to pull my shirt out a couple times and drink some water, but that was basically it.

When I moved up to 400mg I would wake up in a pool of sweat. It was impossible for me to sleep without a fan directly on my face. It is the most uncomfortable, "clammy", feeling I've ever felt. I think I did that for 2 weeks or so.

However dangerous it was, it did work. I did a lot of research on it before even attempting it, and realized it was very easy to literally cook yourself from the inside out.

So in the end I kind of agree with both sides of this discussion. I can see where everyone is coming from and why they are discouraging it, but it does work and if taken very carefully the worst thing that should happen is some serious sweating.

Take it easy guys, and good luck with it zipster.

The irony is that the heat is not your fat melting off, it's just the energy from the carbs you eat being wasted off as heat due to the poisoning effect within your cells. You're essentially using a poison to "cut calories".

yep.

and even funnier - u could get the same weight loss by running til you're drenched in sweat every night, taking hoodia or lipoflame to watch your calories, and doing some lifting weights. plus it'll be much safer.

if u threw 20lbs of fat on me - i could lose it just like that by doing the above. i was silly to do dnp when all i had to do was above. and i wouldn't have to risk dying :)

Oh I agree with you both that it wasn't the most healthy thing I've ever done. Like I said it was a year ago, I saw a lot of hype about it and I was curious.

For the way I felt 24 hours a day, it really wasn't worth it because like you said, you could do cardio for 1-2 hours a day and just feel all sweaty for that amount of time. :)

Anyhow DNP is out there and people are going to continue to use it. I've been there and I'm not going back. However I do feel that the last I can do is share my experience with others to help make it safer.

Take it easy guys,
