Just thought I'd start a thread on your little beauty tricks...

I will share a goodie: know all those $60-70 vitamin C beauty creams? I make my own.
Crush up a vitamin C tab and mix it with your favorite moisturizer. Just be conservative or you'll wind up with an acid peel!!!

I have crushed a bunch of them before in a little water and used this gritty mixture to exfoliate pre-waxing but it is HARSH and shouldn't be left on for more than a minute. VERY exfoliating and a lot like a spa peel.

Stay out of the sun if you're gonna try it. Feel free to PM me w questions -- I love this stuff!

Ok, I gave my secret up -- hook me up with some of yours?!

XO

Lemons. :)

Just rub some on your skin. A natural toner. Gets rid of dark sun spots or acne scars. Not sure how it will be for those with dry skin. It has been working well for me.

Not really a secret, but I love baby oil after a shower. Keeps my skin soft.

I do this too. I love how soft it makes my skin. Sometimes I'll soak my feet in hot water and baby oil... feels great after a day of work :)

Someone should try coconut oil on their hair! I just bought a leave in conditioner with coconut oil in it, it smells great and my hair is so soft.

Also not a secret but...
I brush with baking soda and a bit of salt a few times a week to keep my teeth sparkly. Much cheaper and less painful that whitening.

Every other day, i do a natural scrub, In a small plastic container i mix salt with brown and regular sugar, equal portions, a little bit of avocado, or almond oil, and what ever essential oil I have in the house( my fav is vanilla) . Mix all of them and scrub when you are in the shower, at the end just rinse, don't rub with your towel . Your skin will glow
