Dieting struggle

Ok my problem is I quit screwin around started hitting the weights hardcore and dieting...Was hard to eat the amount of food that I was eating at 160lbs. I went from 160-180 in a few months with a test booster, pump enhancer, multi vitamin and protien shakes.

Now my problem is my metabolism caught up and I eat and eat and eat. i eat like 3-6 large solid meals per day. At night time when I cant make a mess of the kitchen I start starving and eyeballing shit in the fridge. Now tonight I mowed 3 pp and j sandwiches low fat peanut butter and low fat jelly and also ate an apple and drank a protien shake.

In about 30 mins ill be hungry again. Should I just start cooking mass foods or is stuff like I just ate ok as long as I am not eating mcdonalds and drinking soda? I tain 6 times per week doing one muscle group per session.

I completley cut soda out of my diet like 2 months ago and quit messin around I also quit drinking beer last week.

So I guess my remaining question is do I just cook insane mass amounts of food or am I still ok as long as its not fast food with soda like stated above.

Dieting has always been hard for me but not so much anymore..I am at about 13.5% bf standing at 5'9 183.5lbs currently. im 21 years old by the way. The crappy part is I often feel hungry a lot and ill only feel full for about 5 mins after I eat a lot.

drink more water to help curve the appetite..the rest is just a battle of self control. feed yourself enough to grow at the rate you desire..anymore and its just a lack of discipline imo

Would suggest posting up your daily meal plan and also put it into a food counts program like www.fitday.com (free, easy to use, online) and showing the meal plan in detail, e.g.

Meal 1: 8 am
1/2 c oatmeal
1 whole egg
2 egg whites

Meal 2: 10 am
.... etc

And also post up the results that you get from the food counts for:
- Total cals
- Macro nutrient breakdown: % protein / % carb / % fat

The point is if you are still hungry then you maybe aren't eating the most optimal way - you get the best results w/ a little planning to make sure you are getting enough to keep you on an efficient schedule (e.g. every 2-3 hrs) and also that you are getting enough cals. If you just eat big piles of stuff, it may blow up in your face if you are eating crap just to keep from getting hungry later. Then when you have an idea of what you should be eating, then you can plan ahead & make the meals you need so you aren't caught not being able to eat at all or eating whatever shit is available so you don't starve. BTW that starvation feeling also keeps me from sleeping and RECOVERY is a hyuge part of a successful training program as well.

To give you a comparison - I tend to broil or grill 5-6 chicken breasts every couple days and keep some source of complex carb available (pre-cooked sweet potato, wild rice, brown rice, etc) and a pile of veggies. I make all my meals for the next day because I leave for work in the morning and may or may not work late and generally I dont' have time to go out or take time off for lunch - so if I've got it all w/ me, I'm not SOL when I need to eat. Just takes a little bit of planning to see what is easy to cook in bulk a couple times / week and what is the best way to pack it and carry it for your day. I've been doing this pretty religiously for since 1999. Every day. I carry a small softside cooler and a couple ice packs and I"m good to go all day no matter what happens w/ my schedule. You also get very efficient at what is the best way / best food to pack as well
